Avatar m tn My skin is also sensitive but I think it may be more sensitive now due to over washing. Can your nerves become more sensitive in your face from over washing and putting moisturizer on it?
4936507 tn?1365361667 Hi everyone. I have what I have chalked up to be just extremely sensitive skin, but only in certain areas. It started a couple of years ago when moisturizers I was using around my eyes and eyelids suddenly started causing a weird rash just under my eyebrows. It feels like it has been scratched and it itches and burns like crazy if I put anything on it. I started trying all different kinds of all natural, hypoallergenic, organic, etc types of moisturizers, all with the same affect.
Avatar f tn 25 year old female, caucasian, extremely fair skin with freckles (blond / red hair), with very pink cheeks, family history of skin cancer (paternal grandfather), extremely dry skin in general (I only use Eucerin shower oil- no soap, eucerin lotion after showering, and carmol for keratosis pilaris). I have always had delicate skin and regularly use Oil of Olay SPF 30 sensitive skin daily moisturizer but I am still getting dry & red patches on my face.
4274823 tn?1388529098 Can anyone suggest a gentle, natural skin moisturizer? I have dry, sensitive skin in part due to hypothyroidism and in part due to the early onset of winter in Canada.
Avatar m tn Oh also, I have sensitive skin.. very sensitive skin. I used biore ice cleanser earlier in the shower and my face was glowing red, like mild sunburn red because of it.

Avatar n tn Hi, So I have basically used every single drugstore moisturizer, cleanser, toner, eye cream, etc. And they all make my face burn. I know this isn't supposed to happen and I know I have terribly sensitive skin. Even when using "gentle" versions of face products, my face will still burn. I didn't think that eye cream would make my skin burn, BUT IT DOES. I have tried very high end and expensive moisturizers and such, and even some of them burn as well.
Avatar n tn I have sensitive skin and I've been using one particular brand of lotion all my life because it's the only brand that didn't break me out, and I never had any strange reactions when I used it. Then recently when I used it I started to feel burning and stinging on my skin. This also happens with other lotions too that never used to make my skin burn until recently. Is there any way I can treat this problem or get help for it? Please help.
Avatar f tn Purchased another Neutrogena moisturizer for sensitive skin, but my skin reacts very poorly to everything at the moment--using pure Vitamin E and/or baby/mineral oil as a sealant. The problem now is that (on top of not being able to confirm the exact cause of this reaction) my skin is extremely dry, taut, and flaking under the best of circumstances.
Avatar f tn About 2 months ago I noticed my skin would sting when I was washing and also when I was in the gym through sweating. I stopped exfoliating as my skin is dry and sensitive anyway this seemed to help. Now it's beginning to sting again when I clean my face and again when I sweat. It even hurts when I moisturise and i'm using vitamin E cream as it is still dry in patches on my forehead and cheeks.
Avatar f tn Anyway, I use generic brand of Cetaphil to wash my face and a face lotion that is for sensitive skin and is noncomedogenic. I get the walmart brand of both. Recently I bought a face sponge that lightly scrubs off the dry skin. It seems to be working. I know people say to not scrub, but what are you to do?? Have a crusty face all day? I also stopped putting acne medicine on my face because that I was irritating it more.
Avatar f tn Yves Rocher makes products for women and men with sensitive skin and they are terrific. They also sell skin moisturizers, toners for sensitive skin. Their prices are very reasonable and they have really good sales. I have bought a lot of their products over the years and as I mentioned they have excellent products for sensitive skin. I would goggle Yves Rocher if you are interested. I hope you find my suggestions helpful.
Avatar n tn should I worry I have very sensitive skin. what can i put? should i go to my derma.
Avatar f tn I have small little white pimples under my skin ( it feels grainy) and small blackheads even sometimes on my sholders. is retin-a micro going to work . my doctor recommended it, but he didn't give me any toner or moisturizer to use and retin-a makes my skin feel dry. and he even didn't seem to care much so, now i am wondering if it is gonna work :-( and what products to use to keep my pores clean. to prevent more blackheads.
Avatar n tn t even touch my face without it hurting, and i need a way to make this rash, or whatever it is, on my face go away. i have really sensitive skin, which could be one of the reasons this happened. thanks so much!!
Avatar f tn Is it safe to use moisturizer on your nipples.
Avatar f tn I love Oil of Olay, I have found that using any type of fragranced lotion or sprays will irritate my skin even baby lotion! You could be more sensitive to products now that youre pregnant. Mention it to your doctor and see what they find or suggest.
Avatar m tn If you haven't discovered 'Made from Earth' yet, their "Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer" cream is marvelous. It's worth every penny - a jar will last you forever since there's no water in it, it's a very concentrated and rich emulsion of natural ingredients. it heals uncomfortable dry patches anywhere on your body, it softens cuticles, it makes a great eye cream when my eyes are irritated by allergies.
Avatar f tn It is a good moisturizer and when you dry off from the bath it takes extra dead skin off. I also use it as the main oil in lotions that I make for my fiance as well as hair products.
Avatar m tn After I turned 30, this happened to me every winter, regardless of sexual activity- some of us just have sensitive skin. Do not go to bed with a lot of moisturizer on your meat- your body doesn't need it, and you'd more likely just end up with no particular benefit to your dry skin, and maybe a pair or ruined underwear to boot.
Avatar f tn I wash my face in the morning and night with ckean n clear for sensitive skin and also use cera ve lotion. Im constantly going through those oil absorbing sheets. I cant seem to get it under control!
