some things i have to track are time seizure happened , how long i was in seizure, what if any warning i had before, bitting of the tounge or jaw, how long i slept after, any pain when i come to , if i had enough sleep , ate , took meds on time , if i was under stress , what kind of seizure i had , how i was feeling daily, had any trouble breathing , stomache pain after. my neuro wants me to track my moods and migraines and what i was doing before the seizure came on.

My son 35 years old has just had a seizure during the night. This one has left him with very sore calfs and is making waking difficult. After 2 days this seems to be getting better but the other problem that occured is that his tongue is very mashed, cut and very sore so he must have been clamping down on it during the siezure. my neuro told me to stop taking my dilantin, so i did for 2 mnts.i have grandmal seizures. i had a seizure last nite that lasted 5min and my husband said i was out of it for about 10min.i did start my meds last nite.does me having a seizure prove the tumor wasent the cause? i allways have warning signs but last nite it hit so fast .my family doctor wants me off dilantin. she tells me it has bad side effects.i cant take topimax it built so much pressure in my head and eyes i had to go to the er.

I know people who suffer from epilepsy and they do somewhat have a "warning sign" prior to having a seizure, but its nothing how you have described. Youre having a panic attack, not a seizure. Its normal to panic and feel all those things but you're definitely not having a seizure, it may feel like it, but youre not. Ive panicked so much to the point where I fainted but you just have to relax, laying in bed helps me, so I suggest try not worrying and get to sleep! No seizures!

Ive a Warning, Not a question. If you have any kind of seizure or resulting head trauma behind seizures, do stay away from Zoloft. Thats one med that will make a person who dosent know they have seizures into a person who has gran malls multiple times a day for its duration of use. No, I did not take any other meds or alcohol when I had the seizure. And, yes it scared me to death.......there was no warning prior to it happening like I thought there may be, I just blacked out. To make it worse, I was driving at the time and had my husband and 7 yr old daughter in the car. I was driving at a low rate of speed in city traffic, so my husband was able to grab the wheel and drive the car towards the curb.

It could possibly be some form of seizure, or even mild epilepsy. You need to have him checked out I think. Can you video the event if it happens again? Obviously you might not get much warning but if you can, it would help the vet perhaps to see more clearly what's going on with him.

He had a blood sugar of 73 when the paramedics tested him, but they feel that had risen due to the seizure activity. They felt that his blood sugar had been much lower.
