A lot will say Ultram, probably the ones who have had no problems with it, even drs.! BEWARE!!!! They lower the seizure threshhold. If she perhaps is taking something else, something that would also lower this threshhold, plan to stay with her is all I can say. I take Adderall and my dr. thought it best (for him) if I went on Ultram. Can't mix the 2! You know what happens? Seizing at its finest!

Tramadol lowers the seizure threshhold; occasionally even people that take it properly can have a seizure. With your daily dose, it's an honest-to-God miracle that you haven't died. You have no control right now and I doubt you could do a taper on your own. Not judgmental, it's just a fact. Every seizure you have can mean your death. You are in an emergency situation; if you were my sister, I'd say that you need to get to a treatment center NOW.
That is more concerning for a seizure! The pain may be a prodrome for a seizure (sometimes those with seizures have symptoms or sensations before the seizure begins, which can be a warning to get down and prepare for the seizure).
I would advise your friend to seek immediate medical attention, particularly from a neurologist. If they have specific cardiac tests they want to perform their evaluation, they can pursue them at that time.
Hi, I am waiting for an operation on my back, surgeon said some time before Christmas, I am in very bad pain I can not walk for the pain in my legs and back, my doctor put me on Pregabalina at 100 mg , that did not help so he put them up to 300 mg a day, no good, so could you recommend a pain killer that will work with L5/S1. the constant pain is really getting me down. Its codine and paracetermol at high dosages i think, it was the first pain killer i was given by my doctor they come in different stregths im on 30/500, my headaches are caused by my neck and back and some kind of tension (still yet to be diagnosed) and a couple of these seem to relax my musles make me feel light headed and tired and to start with used to take them away, not sure whether i would recommend them as just found out they too can be addictive which i was un aware of, but i must say iv
I was diagnosed with IC 3 years ago, and take a nerve pain killer for another condition that I've heard prescribed for IC - neurontin- it doesn't help for me, neither do the anti seizure pills I've taken for migraines. You might try a partial agonist opiate, like tramadol, partial agonists make addiction much less likely, but, of course, are no where near as potent. You can find a lot of info about partial agonists and how they work on Wikipedia, of all places !

Drink some caffeine free tea, use a humidifire, tykenol, they say that regular robots sin is fine for a caugh. Caugh drops are also ok. I used a Vix nasal in halal and saline. At least all according to my midwife. Even though there's a new study that clamps tylenol is linked to adhd. I took it when I had a fever.

Seems as though getting off is killer but, staying off must be very difficult. That is the part that scare the **** out of me. going through all of the pain to w/d and then relapse. I would love to hear from all of you about relapse. How to stay clean???? After I go through this hell to get off I NEVER want to go through it again.
How have y'all been? I hope all is well and with me I had a seizure again during my cousin graudation went to the hospital didn't eat or drink nothing. I just wanted to keep y'all updated with me and I wanna know how are y'all doing as well...It's nothing to play with I was so embrassed and ashame of myself espcially when my cousin always been telling stop taking xanax I do take it for panic attack and what not I don't even enjoy it anymore.
My Mother has been in and out of the hospital for a few years now. She has been drinking all her life(alcoholic)and a couple years back she had trouble eating so she kept getting weaker as a result. She complained that she had trouble swallowing or she would always throw up anything she ate, but she could always eat her favorite, Indian food. So I suspect the real issue was her mental state but she never took this idea seriously and she only continued to get worse.
They put me on 300mg of Ultram, and after 1 week of taking it I had a seizure. So they put me on Vicodin 40mg a day. The Vicodin was so far the best. Then I injured my back and the doctor gave me Hydromorphone HCL 4mg 3 times a day. After reading some posts here it seems that drug is very dangerous and I am not sure if I should just suck it up and withdraw from Vicodin cold turkey (gave back to Dr. to get the new Rx). For pain I'll keep taking Ibuprofen.
We believe he had a seizure Thursday morning. I woke to him crying. All signs pointed to a seizure, he was stiff and scared and licking his mouth like crazy, typical signs in the past for a seizure.
