i have recently been diagnosed with herpes and i just wanted to know if it is possible that i can somehow transmit it to my children and what precautions i should take to make sure i dont i have a small child that still uses diapers so that worries me lets say i sctratch myself and then change her diaper is she at risk im scared to even touch my children i really dont have any idea where it came from and although im worried and concerned my main concern is not giving it to my children my wife is

It would depend on the cause of the seizures. Also some medications can lower the seizure threshold including many antipsychotics but only a doctor or psychiatrist would understand this in full. It would be worthwhile to discuss these concerns with them and what the appropriate means of follow up would be.

While I take Wellbutrin for OCD rather than ADHD, I was on 150 mg XR for about a year and then bumped up to 300 mg XR which I have been on for a little over a year. I have never had a seizure. I don't even worry about having a seizure and I'm a worrier, hence the OCD problem. So if it was working for you, then maybe think about giving it another try.

yes depakote is an anti seizure med. there are many anti-seizure meds. could be that one isnt working for her.

If they arent too many side affects, then stay on it. I have JME, and I take Keppra. I've been on Keppra for almost 5 years now. Started at 23, and I'm 28 now. I had one grand mal seizure and that was the worst month of my life. Not knowing your parents, you can move, and the headaches... if he's seizure free, keep the meds! Nothing is worse than having a seizure. And you cant drive after that. I say stay on it. Keppra has done very well for me...
