Well, this afternoon in 92 degree weather (no comments , I know) I walked the entire perimeter of our 1.25 acre property with the cane I had found in FL. It was an all terrain cane that only cost me $20 at the local Publix grocery store. With my Shih-Tzu /daschund mix dog I walked the ENTIRE property. My dog, Chloe, had to stop and rest but I didn't! I am so psyched that it's hard to explain.

Dear spindoc88, I am so sorry to hear of your recent hospitalization due to a hypoglycemic seizure. This is a great fear of many diabetics and their families. I personally have kept dry, but half the town has flooded basements, and we are one of the lucky counties. It is mainly the farmers here that are getting hammered. Some towns have no drinking water.
