535822 tn?1443976780 I'm not sure I'm reading it right either. What I got is that the leaders of these Latin American countries are upset that Obama's policies make it tougher for them to compete with US firms. Now, that isn't a good thing for the Latin American Countries, but with the number of jobs in the US being lost to companies leaving and doing business elsewhere, I would think this is a good thing for the US?
447130 tn?1225470866 One of our community friends has had a terrible tragedy happen to her personally. I won't get into the details for privacy's sake but she needs our prayers right now. If you could just include her in a quick prayer, it would mean so much to me. I can't help, I'm too far away and it feels horrible. Thanks so much.
Avatar n tn I am happily married to a wonderful sexy latin man, surpassing all others with his intimacy & romance... I have a very normal stress free life, have tons of fun with my husband, and am still very attracted to him...yet I find myself lacking in the sex drive area. I feel like my sexual height was in my teens! I could go for four runs in one day when I was 19, yet now once a week is like "I could do without..." I am completely indifferent.

Avatar f tn Im turning 24wks tomorrow and I got released from the hospital today for an appendectomy. I really don't want norco or any pain medication because I'm afraid it will affect my baby but I'm in pain specially when I have to walk to the washroom and get up from bed. My husband said I should take it since my dr prescribed it....anyone been through this?
Avatar m tn Thank you Jakied, wishing us "heppers" well in any way, shape or form is a kind and thoughtful gesture.
Avatar f tn Costa Ricans are Latin and Latin's are HOT in every department, that is why they called "us" latin lovers, but I've never heard of one that can't kiss....ouch!
Avatar m tn com/Q/What_is_the_plural_of_octopus Usage notes The plural octopi is hypercorrect, coming from the mistaken notion that the -us in octopus is a Latin second declension ending. The word is actually treated as a third declension noun in Latin. The plural octopodes follows the Ancient Greek plural, ὀκτώποδες (oktōpodes).
Avatar f tn I have been feeling drunk in my head and have been having tingling in my face off and on
Avatar m tn Have to admit I jumped to the conclusions when I started running into the Latin, but it definitely gets favorited along the Replicative Homeostasis papers and the evolution of hep C for my late night reading. Thank you.

Avatar f tn Last year after marriage the frequency increased. Thrice in 3 months. We went to a different doc. He said that he had primary generalized seizure or a right right frontal focus with hemispheric bisynchrony. He also said that carbamazepine is not right medication for it so slowly changed it to kepra. My husband dint have seizures for 5 months. After carbamazepine was completely stopped and he was completely on kepra , he got seizure. He takes 3700 MG ok kepra per day.

Avatar m tn Then in the early evening, he had a major seizure. This time, he had three of them in a row, and afterward, was back to lethargic. As money is tight because of Christmas, we had no money to take him to the vet until today. He has been lethargic ever since Saturday morning, will only eat beef and rice that I make him and not much of it, he's drinking some water and using the bathroom outside like normal, but all he wants to do all day is sleep. It's very sad. Sooo not himself!
Avatar f tn I have had spina bifida occulta my whole life but im now 37 and for the past 6 months im in terrible pain in my lower back along with numbness and loss of sensation now and again in my hands feet and legs. I attend the doctors complaining and all i get is, thats part if the condition and recently they've said its due to pregnancy (but pains started way before then) i have read that the spinal cord can stretch and therefor cause considerable pain and i feel like im not being acknowledged.
Avatar f tn The vet said she had an epileptic seizure and gave her some Valium for me to give her if she has another seizure. All has been well until tonight(10-13-08). I was reading on the net that dogs do not have epilepsy, it is strictly a human condition. I want to believe my vet but.... Will you please explain to me what causes seizures in dogs and what I can di to prevent it?
Avatar f tn Not knowing a seizure happened is very normal. You should probably get him an EEG that would give you the most information. Just understand that we don't know a lot about the brain, so knowing why someone has a seizure isn't something that can be answered. Do not take what I'm saying in place of what a doctor will tell you. I want to stress that I'm not a doctor.
Avatar m tn Our youngest daughter, who will be 8 in March, had a seizure induced by a fever in early November. The seizure lasted about a minute or less and she was convulsing and lost consciousness. I was shocked and scared because she had not had a febrile seizure since shortly before her third birthday. The only other seizure she had was at 15 months, and again, was a febrile seizure.
Avatar n tn Has he seen in a neurologist? Not just in the ER, I mean, but for a more extensive workup. It's not impossible that he has a seizure disorder (e.g., some form of epilepsy) that is not related to his diabetes. An electroencephalogram (EEG) could be helpful, even, if necessary, a 24-hour one if they couldn't otherwise catch the seizure activity. Good luck.
579258 tn?1250649343 When opportunity knocks, answer the door ........ believing in yourself can open many doors, but only if you let it. My high school ring (way back when) states in Latin "We Cross this Bridge but Once" ... I live by that phrase and remind myself of that phrase when the going seems rough.
