it almost seams like a layer of sand covers my field of vision and anything i look at causes sever after images.. i also have had some heart issues such as skipping beats , palpitations, numbness/tingling in arms and chest pain.. ive accomplished nothing in finding out whats wrong with me except 10,000 in debt..

My 15 year old healthy son had a seizure. He has never had one before. ct, eeg normal. the Mri showed Nonspecific focal increased T2 signal within right thalamus, of questionable significance. This may represent sequelae of remote demyelination or infection. No acute intracranial abnormality. what would this mean. Dr said nothing to worry about unless has another seizure we should just watch this.

MRI scan today was to follow up on possible seizure activity viewed on EEG during sleep study (polysomnography). I have not spoken to my doctor, but my father (a radiologist) insists that all of the images look "normal". I am not feeling so confident. Can anyone please give me some feedback on this image, PROP T2 TRF?

Soon after I started seeing the floaters I began seeing after images of objects. If I look at a dark object against a light background and then look away I see a flash of the reverse image. Lights also seem to burn into my vision more quickly as well. I just went back to the opthamologist with this complaint and she did a thorough eye exam. She saw nothing wrong with my eyes.

I am on Lamictal and Depakote for seizures, but I am seizure free for more than 2 years. Thought that it might be relevant. I also spray nasal decongestants every day due to my allergies to dust mites. I've been getting episodes where everything goes darker in my left eye for 2-3 minutes. Last night I was sitting at my computer listening to music, just kind of jiving out. Axial CT images of the brain were obtained without contrast utilizing 5mm thin sections throughout, There is a presence of a high riding third ventricle. There is some splyaing and paralleling of the bodies of the lateral ventricles. The findings may reflect a component of corpus callosum agenesis. There is no hydrocephalus. No acute hemmorhage, edema, mass effect or midline shift. Normal gray-white differentiation throughout. Orbits unremarkable. paranasal sinuses and mastiods are clear.

I immediately made an appointment with my psychiatrist who termed the repeat visuals and voices as a seizure and told me to increase the dose of Klonopin which helps me relax more at night and sleep better so I don't have these hallucinations anymore. although I still sometimes see images or can sense things happening during the day but just brush them off thinking my mind is tired or i've retained some old memory in my head.

I panic, I fall hit the ground but crazy enough I get the sensation I am still falling, everything is still but I'm still falling. My whole lower body goes numb, it always starts with my left leg... it just goes way beyond numb it's as if it doesn't exsist. I grab things to try to stop the falling sensation but that doesn't help, sometimes it comes in waves and can last more than half an hour. If I close my eyes it's like I'm not in me, if that makes sense.

I have a peculiar problem of being able to see after images for a little more time than normal.Due to which my eyes are not able to accommodate moving objects. Hence, I can see a series of bats when a cricket shot is played by a cricket batsman. Similarly If i move my hand or anything in my hand I can see the moving hand/object even after the hand/object has reached the new place and that moving hand/object merges with the hand/object at the new place in a second or two.

Hi doctor I am 21 and am 3 months post partum , ever since I had my daughter I noticed ghost images in my right eye only . It's usually when I am sitting far away from my tv but when I get up close it is gone ! Do you know what could be causing this !? I am nearsighted and have been since I was younger but never really wore my glasses !

Although he would NOT cooperate, we were able to get a few good shots of his face. He so cute!(I know, I'm the momma) He kept putting his hands in his face and the umbilical cord was just everywhere. It was an amazing experience for dh and me though. I thought after seeing him we would come up with a name but....NOTHING.

I also have not had a CINE MRI but would like to know if possible blocked or comprimised cfs flow cam be seen on the regular MRI images. My cerebellum seems to be pressed against the back of my skull. Not sure if all the pain and pressure in my head and neck are caused by bad flow or none at all in some areas. I feel like banging my head against the wall on most days. My head is going to explode! At least that what it feels like. I feel like this is slowly killing me.

I figured he was having a seizure so I made sure the environment was safe and put a blanket down for him and went back to bed ( I have a 5 month old baby and I was home alone at the time) he seemed to quiet and then started up again. We went over my previous MRA of the neck and more lab reports and the seizure study I had done. He said everything looks great!! MRA was perfect. lab work was great. and without a doubt I'm not having seizures! woohoo! Then I said, that's great but how come I still can't feel my legs and all the other things that are currently going on. He started talking about post viral and that my symptoms MIGHT be related to that.
