Partner had a stroke april 21 but only this last 6mths she has had 1/2 episodes where she has gone to laugh and had one i would describe as a seizure - she stares and goes red as though struggling to breath then 10ish secs later she is absolutely fine- anyone else had similar

Ever since my Neurologist started taking me off my anti seizure meds, I've started getting these brain spasms, I guess you could call them that anyways. They only happen on days I'm not on my meds. For example, last week when I tried not to take my meds for the first time, I had a really bad brain spasm where my entire brain kinda froze, and my body jolted and I dropped everything I was holding. I had many more of those and had to go home from school.

I don't think people who have a seizure remember the seizure, but he definitely had something. Maybe it's a thyroid problem. He needs to be seen, but an ER is the slowest, most expensive and least efficient way to do it.

Im so sorry! I know how bad seizures can get and I can only imagine how awful you feel. I wish I knew of natural ways to ease seizures, I just dont. I hope you can hold out until you get to your doctors. Have you tried calling the office and speaking to a nurse? They may have some pointers or advice.
