seborrheic dermatitis of the groin

I tried a dandruff shampoo that contains zinc pyrithione, but this time I rubbed the shampoo directly on the spots instead of just the foam. My ears and groin are still red but the scales and scabs are virtually gone in less than 10 days and I only itch when the skin is wet (sweat or post-shower). Hey, this works. And I'm tired of itching. And now parts of my scalp are itching, on top of the ears, face, chest, belly area and groin.

How about the meds the Dr has me on i listed above should that cure the rash or just the Seborrheic Dermatitis

There are no other symptoms, just flaky skin in the sides of my nose, and only the sides. it happens once a year, and started about a year ago (so i think it has to do with make up) it will probably disappear once more this spring, and come back next November. i will definitely look into Seborrheic dermatitis.

You will need a dermatologist to find out if the seborrheic dermatitis is causing the hair to fall out or if it's normal male patterned baldness or something else causing the hair to fall out. Hope this helps!

Does presence of HPV can alter the result of rapid test kit for antibodies after 4 months exposure ?

I have had a HIV test in the past which came up negative and I am just worried that the Seborrheic Dermatitis is HIV related, all my exposures are listed above and any help would be much appreciated?

Hello, Without examination,it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis,but it can be eczema,contact dermatitis rash(allergic or irritant0,seborrheic dermatitis ,fungal infection(ringworm) or psoriasis. Wash your groin daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying,not rubbing. A hairdryer is useful if you have hairy groins.The damp groin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply.Also wear cotton underwears and change them twice a day. and do not share other people’s towels.

I have been researching this online and think it is seborrheic dermatitis. I have been using clotrimazole cream twice daily as suggested on the JUST ANSWER DERMATOLOGY site for 3 days now. I have attached pics too. I have it on both sides of the nose. Its been this way for 5 months now. Lot of people have started noticing it now and its very embarrassing. Can I take any oral pills?
