Avatar f tn note: sorry for the long comment. I am just very concerned about other people in pain like myself who are suffering because of these cruel and unconstitutional "war on pain patient" procedures and laws too many complex hurdles and hoops to be admitted to a pain doctor. These draconian laws and procedures also makes doctors afraid to continue pain meds because they can be lose their license to practice or worse. I don't know about seeking a lawyer.
Avatar f tn t hurting for money but my bf is stressed and does make stupid comments about my not working, thinks getting a job is easy and also thinks that me leaving the babe to work will be easy. He says a month after the baby's born to start hunting again. . Honestly is feel that's pretty quick and know ppl who take off 3 months before going back to work.
Avatar f tn t drink anymore and has been seizure free for 12 months before his last seizure, and two months since. He is working on stress relievers and everything he can to insure he doesn't have another one. The doctor he has now knows nothing about the laws or his history and won't take into consideration about the past history.

Avatar m tn My big fear is epilepsy Oxy use to make me shake and bite my tongue but since i been on 200mg Lamictal it has stopped I read Flexeril may cause seizure but then I also read the opposite. Even if I am not epileptic I like to play it safe as my Doc is out, and the pharmacy worker never seems to know anything. So does Flexeril increase seizure risk or is that just for (diagnosed) epileptics? I don't want to add it to the oxy and have a attack.

506791 tn?1439842983 As a young man, my opinions were becoming more fully formed within their own channels and a split from the ways of my childhood and youth came into being. Though peace and respect remained between my kin, kith and me, I had become that independent man my parents sought to forge. For one fifth of that seven score and ten, which some Holy Writs allude to, I searched and found a worldview and belief set, which spoke to That Which Is Essentially Me.

Avatar n tn Hi Jinkies, you are a smart woman to not fixate on just one disease when there are so many autoimmune disorders out there that can cause these problems. Be sure and stop through and let us know how the search is going and don't give up looking. Be your own advocate - it is worth the effort.
Avatar f tn ve noticed increased seizure activity and forgetfulness. Also, irritability and nervousness. Has anyone else had this or similar experience? Also, if so, what/if anything helped?
Avatar f tn Only thing I can suggest is headaches can sometimes be caused by heart or circulation problems. Since he's on blood pressure meds, could be they aren't doing the job, even tho they were switched recently. It would also be good to know the body chemistry basis for how come his potassium is low all the time, but I don't know what kind of doc can investigate that. That would be my input on this.
Avatar f tn That's my problem... Clonazepam was the only seizure medication that worked; and I'm pretty sure it's because that medication is for anxiety &/or seizures. However, with my injuries I also need pain medication; and I've just found out they're not suppose to be prescribed simultaneously. I got a letter discharging me from my doctor this month, but it said I'd have a month to find a new one.
Avatar f tn A few minutes after that she had a grand mal seizure. (First seizure ever). Rushed to the hospital by ambulance. She had 1 seizure in ambulance, 2 more in the ER. Cat Scan showed nothing. She was put on seizure medication, but seizures continued. She was also given bacterial and fungal medication, in case of encyphillitis, etc., Ran every possible test imaginable, all came back negative. Spinal Fluid showed elevated white blood cells. Doctors could not figure out what was causing her seizures.
572072 tn?1217126880 My 2 year old son has been having seizures since he was 6 months old. They have worse over time. Today I took him into the hospital (his dr's office was not open today) for swollen tonsils to get meds in him before the illness got worse as his seizures get worse when he is sick.
Avatar m tn Stress precipitates episodes of them blacking out where they will have a blank stare and grit their teeth and they start attacking whatever stressed them out and it has gotten them in trouble several times. This needs to be resolved soon because they are going to have a kid and are really concerned about it.
163305 tn?1333668571 “You have to be careful because you get into search and seizure issues,” Akron police spokesperson Rick Edwards explained. “You can’t detain them. Ohio isn’t the only state to allow open carry. If you don’t like it, you can talk to your legislators.” http://www.alternet.
Avatar f tn I'm the type of person that reads everything. I know this clinic very well and benzos are allowed as long as they are legally prescribed. The doctor told me it would be no problem as long as I had a prescription however the counselor was the issue. She went back to the first drug test after I received my legal prescription and used that to get me kicked out.
Avatar f tn My very healthy 3 year olds son recently had a grand mal seizure and is now having drop seizures. His MRI showed a cerebellar tonsillar ectopia and adenoid and tonsil enlargement. Does anyone know if this combination could cause a seizure? Or whether the cerebellar tonsillar ectopia alone could cause a seizure? Thanks!!
Avatar n tn Hi, Good suggestion. We have a bunch of search enhancements we're looking at doing, and this is one. One thing you can do right now, is we've added a search box to every forum that searches just in that forum. For now, you can go to the expert's forum, and search which will give you just posts from their forum. Not ideal, but a step closer.
Avatar m tn I have been told by the cardiologist that migraines, fatigue are symptoms of NCS, and that the seizure meds with this condition probably has made it worse. Most people do just faint, but there has been neurological events recorded with tilt table test.. I have found material that recommends anyone that has seizures or fainting needs to have a cardiac work up as well as Neurolgical work-up. Search it (NCS with seizures) to find the info you need. Thanks Let me know what you thing...
