she was put on 1/4 of pepcid twice a day...worked okay for a few days, but back to morning throw up...I only let her eat her science diet, nothing else...oh and 1 probiotic called probiable dc since going on the science diet wd in Sept...I am trying to feed her later in the night, but maybe needs to be her largest meal...not sure what else to do...

The biggest problem with not using a quality commerical food is with nutrients. There's not a thing wrong with making your own dog food, but you'll need to add a good multivitamin to ensure your dogs are getting everything they need to be happy and healthy.
My twenty pound dog, Rusty has had real flea problems already this year I thought. However he is still itching all the time so now I'm thinking its his food! If it were me, I would throw that crap as far as I could away. None of the Science Diet/ Hills, or for that matter, Iams, Purina, Beneful, etc., etc. are any good at all. As a matter of fact, they are causing so much harm to our pets that vet visits are at an all time high.
The turkey/pumpkin mixture should right his digestive system fairly quick. If it don't, then he has something else going on.
Once he is over this, get him on a premium food that is grain free.
Thanks for all the great ideas. I can see that this might take awhile to ssolve. I also think that it might have something to do with living in an apt. I hear that if people have dogs with fleas in an apt, then move,the fleas can lie dormant in the carpet. Then when a new dog comes along they come out of hybernation and attack the "fresh meat" He eats Beneful dog food for watching weight.
I just went to a different vet and this vet wants my dog on a new diet that the vet said is just as good it is the Science diet cd prescription. My question is is this science diet just as good or should I stay with the royal canin urinary so 14 diet. My dog has not had any problems and he has been doing really good. Please help. If I can save some money this way it would be great.
