thanks for all the emails from all concerned about my safety.....i didnt get blown away lol.....was terrible weather though.....over 50 tornadoes touched down in tennesee lastnight....mostly west and middle tennesee...i luckily live in east tn....we got alot of wind off the storm luckily no tornadoes here......i would like to ask everyone to pray for the familes of the victims and the families that lost there homes and all their belongings...

Well there's always a possibility for tornadoes. But they aren't constant. maybe you could educate yourself in tornado safety so you know exactly what to do in the event of a severe storm. You may feel more calm if you're well prepared for any such weather emergency. But more than likely you won't even have to worry. My old roommate lives in kansas and has lived there for close to 3 years now and I haven't once heard her mention anything about tornadoes.

I live in dallas texas and saw one of the tornadoes forming right in front of me today! I'm terrified of tornadoes and I think my little boy could tell because he was moving like crazy! Im so glad this is all over!

oh god!!! we have tornadoes heading for us right now, news keeps breaking in updating the severe storms. they are still about 30 miles from here but moving at 65 mph. Strong rotation, straight line winds of 80 to 100 mph they say oh my god. STorms are a huge triggger of mine and these storms should be here real soon....i want a vicodin so bad right now. i always loved to get high on vics when we had storms tornadoes. Ohhhh man this is gonna be a long night here!!!!!

We don't really get tornadoes in SC but we have been having a lot of crazy thunderstorms, I like them though!

Wow, grandmatobe, that was a close call with your granddaughter! I'm glad everything was ok and she didn't get hurt! Avanaar, the earthquake was said to be 5.8 at first, but was then reduced to 5.4. We are truly lucky that it was not worse than that. Everyone has been talking about the "big one" being imminent and this one wasn't it. It's just a wake up call and now we know we need to try to prepare for the next one, whenever it comes.

There were multiple tornadoes in tupelo ms. Took out a lot of stores, restaurants, and some of the mall and a few houses got messed up in saltilo ms.

This system moving in now dumped snow in Montana. We are 9 miles from the Iowa border and they are getting torn up with tornadoes. All this so when the mosquitos hatch they will be as big as ducks!!!. Gnats are out and attack your frickin ears. These bugs never get drowned out. It is a BREEDING GROUND!!!! 5 mg of Paxil CR for about 3 years, I had the blues after my last baby and she will be 4 this year and I also got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I continually fight with myself over getting off of it but it does so much for me that I dont want to. My question is will it harm me in any way for staying on it? I dont want to cause any more problems for myself by staying on it but evidently I lack serotonin and the paxil replaces it. Any info that you might give me would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with the above poster. Your Dr knows best. I do know several people that have had stents and heart attacks and tmany of their Drs have said if you can walk up 2 flights of stairs briskly and not be out of breath then sex is safe. Do check with your Dr first though.

In Australia there is a site called kidsafe that rates all available car seats, prams, strollers, cots etc that are available. It rates everything from safety through to prices. Just wondering if perhaps the US has a similar site!

Where I live the weather has been warmer overall but there have been winters with thunderstorms, summers with tornadoes, huge droughts and then huge periods of rain in the last 10 years. And this is N.Y.C. Usually the weather is extremely stable. Certainly not tornadoes and that was two years in a row. Not to mention obvious clues like the polar ice shelf melting and the like. Or the patterns of migratory birds. The robins no longer fly south for the winter.

During storms, I unplug my computer, (lightening and tornadoes). I have a husband that requires me to drive him to the hospital and we are gone most of the day. That can happen a few times a month. During these times, I encourage you to read past posts on the board. I will not have them sticky. :) So hopfully, they will not get deleted.
