Ya, just trim it up. Think pruning the bush rather than cutting it to the ground. But really, you can get pretty close. You don't want to cut yourself though. That's a sensitive area.
Do you have a razor for your face? Most guys are shaving their face by 15 to 16. Maybe for your next holiday in which you receive a present, like your birthday or whatever, you can ask for a razor. Then you'd just have to earn money to buy blades.
His fine and gross motor skills are unrivaled, he can use child safety scissors perfectly and do lots of those small fidgety things with ease...but ask him to say scissors and he just wanders away from you.

In my research I work with blood donated by people working in my building. While cleaning a pair of sharp scissors I used to cut plastic tubing with blood inside i accidentally pricked myself leading to small puncture mark on the thumb with obvious amount of fresh blood. The tips of the scissors had been soaking in 80% Ethanol since 5 days ago.
The donor is a young healthy looking male around 28 years old.

Yesterday at work I cut myself with a pair of office scissors. The cut wasn't deep but it did bleed forever. Could I be at risk? I know the chances of someone having HIV using the scissors, cutting themselves & then me cutting myself with them or rare, but could it be possible?

If the hair stylist did cut you with the scissors, it would probably be a good idea to get tested for the Hepatitis C antibodies in about 3 months.

I think you are suffering from stress, and it is quite understandable with your mother's new diagnosis. I think it is unlikely that you've infected yourself with her manicure equipment, but this is one of the very few methods whereby people can get it from a housemate, so there is a tiny but of risk. You must make a rule from now on the no one else uses her manicure or barbering or shaving equipment.
