You are most likely having an allergic reaction to whatever shaving cream or lotion you are applying to your legs, assuming you are using a safety razor. It is also possible that you do have extra-sensitive skin and the skin response is to mechanical irritation from the shaving device you are using. You might want to switch to a “non-allergenic” shaving cream/lotion product. On the mechanical side be sure to avoid using any razor that is not ultra-sharp.

If you shave your pubic area how often do you shave and how do you not get razor burn? My wife has in the past and always gets razor burn and wants to try again so I am trying to find a good way for her to shave and not have any razor burn. At the present time she only trims.

The large cluster(s) of pumps on my penis seem to be right where I rub up against her. I also shave my pubic area with a safety razor before sex. I don't think it's razor burn since it occurs on/near my foreskin and tip of the penis. (although I believe there is some razor burn going on often near the base.) I think they appear usually within 10 hours after intercourse--definitely within a day. I think they start to fade within a day and have totally disappeared within a week.

I had this problem last summer before I found out I was expecting. I promise I feel your pain. I had em like 4 different times. 2 under one, 2 under the other. I had to stop shaving so often. & make sure your razor is clean. I also use witch hazel under my arms after I shave before I put on deoderant. If you need relief, use a hot towel to bring it to a head. Then burn tha tip of a safety pin or a needle and stick it in that middle. You will need assistance because it hurts like hell.

i waited for my turn, after he finished the haircu 10minutes, he shaved me with a razor (barbers razor) he changed the blade i saw that....but he didnt sanitize the razor...while he shave me., he made 2 small cuts in my chin and neck...it really bleeded...im in worrry...coz after a week later i got a very severe sorethorat which i never ever had before...am i at any risk of hiv infection from the previous customer...im aware hiv transmission is not possible in open environment...

You need to replace your razor heads every so often. Or get a electric razor. This will shave you just as good as anything else.

Help prevent razor bumps by exfoliating your armpits with a sugar scrub and when you shave, only pull the razor in one direction. Changing directions while shaving and old razor blades give me terrible razor bumps!

With a fresh sharp safety razor no less, and yes, I got nicked twice the second time around! So much for safety. Looking back, I think a nice waxing would be better at the location of the c-section plus an inch or two above and below just for the tape and the bandaging. I shave my penis and surrounding area and have done so about 2 years now. What I have found is my wife did the initial shave with a woman's Venus Breeze razor and plenty of dry skin formula woman's Skintimate shave gel. I got a clean shave that left skin really soft afterward, so I have continued using the same products myself. First couple of times I did have razor bumps afterward which my wife used some bikini zone after shave gel. After a few shaves though bumps never came back.

You should put on aloe vera after you shave to help with the razor bumps and ingrown nails. I am assuming that it will help with the itching although I never had the itch problem after shaving.

He said his friend brought this towel and will take it back when he will come here again. I take a shower and shave my beard everyday with razor (Gilette) and wipe my body and my razor with towel after every shave. I usually shave in the shower, with a thick body soap and lather with suds, then get the razor a little wet and shave in a downward position. In the area i think you might be nervous about, forgive me if i am wrong, but that is somewhat tricky until you get the hang of it. Definitely lather up with body wash/ soap or shaving cream and be patient. In the direction of hair growth is the direction you shave.

The barber than gave me a shave with a straight edge razor. He cut me in two spots on my chin (little nicks). He but some a cream on it and it immediately stopped bleeding. The razor was used on several other customers before me. The barber did spray the blade with antiseptic before giving me a shave. Is there a chance that I could have contracted HIV because of this?
