I just got back from that part of Mexico. I had one larger itchy red bump below my knee, and it seemed just itchy. I thought it was poison ivy and small enough that it would go away if I didn't mess with it but it has since started spreading. I feel like it could be spreading from a towel when I'm out of the shower or pulling my shorts up over it because it seems to be spreading up. I read some stuff about chiggers in that area? Anyway there are only 5 bumps, I have included a picture.

My boyfriend, who is an American citizen, spends a large amount of time in Mexico with family. During this last visit, he became sick and went to the doctor to get checked out. After running the tests, they found that he has tuberculosis. Unfortunately, he and his family don't have the money to pursue treatment for him there in Mexico, and we both know that they won't let him back across the border with active TB.
What on earth is he to do?
