Avatar f tn They say that light exercise throughout your pregnancy is good for you..just dont over do it.
Avatar n tn Its recommended during second trimest or late first trimester to sleep on your left sode because of more blood flow to baby . You can sleep on right side as well . You can try doing it now though to get used to it . Later on in pregnancy if you wake up on your back just roll over baby is ok . He or she will most likely make you uncomfortable before anything bad happens your body will signal a response to you most likely .
Avatar f tn My question is will it harm me in any way for staying on it? I dont want to cause any more problems for myself by staying on it but evidently I lack serotonin and the paxil replaces it. Any info that you might give me would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn Doggie is always safe, I'm not sure about the jumping jack though.
Avatar f tn i feel like a crib is too big and possibly expensive not to sure what are your options for sleeping your baby ... keep in mind i have a small room for my baby and our bed and i dont have a lot of money at the time.
Avatar f tn Abortion is an option and something every woman has a right to choose for whatever reason they want to. It's your legal right to have an abortion. So, when the cut off is to how far along that they'll perform them will depend on your state. If you tell me your state, I can look it up for you. Some states allow you until any point in the pregnancy, some the cut off is 20 weeks, some 16 weeks and some 12. It varies. so, what state are you in hon?
Avatar f tn i just fount out i was pregnant on saturday this would be my third baby im 6 weeks dont be sacared what they mean by that is to not carry any heavy things you cant run or jump just heavy things like that you know but its nothing to be freaking out of :)
Avatar f tn Love it! My 3 year old is extremely independent and doesn't listen, she is also a runner. I am sorry but I need it for her safety, my sanity and the safety of her baby brother still inside of me. I can't hold her hand if she doesn't want me to. She will twist, turn and throw herself on the ground until she is loose. Do I use it everyday or everywhere I go? No.
5840725 tn?1376960433 just to add I would stay away from deli counters where they slice cheese for you or meat..., you can contract listeria which you would be ok fighting but your unborn baby may not......
Avatar f tn yes the size is a great bonus but there are other considerations for safety with SUVs....honestly, we got a minivan. which is so funny because I never had one growing up and I spent my childhood making fun of them. But I would recommend something like a Toyota Camry or Avalon...or a Honda Accord.
Avatar n tn Thank you doctor. Your answer was very comprehensive. Just one follow-up. I also asked about hand washing before (by the giver) and showering after (by the receiver). Would these steps reduce risk too?
Avatar f tn I got a playpen with a bassinet for when shes tiny, but have a crib for when shes a few months older. I did the playpen because I can take it on trips, and she can still use it when she gets older, I can have it in the living room or anywhere. A bassinet works for newborns for a short time, so in the long run I'd do a playpen with a bassinet option, don't have to get the big ol fancy ones either. I think I spent 60 on mine. And a crib that grows with your child is good as well.
Avatar f tn I had a bad cold/sinuses when I was 5wks my ob gave me a 3day zpac, she said it would be ok to take, ask your doctor what she/he can give you for it.
Avatar f tn I dont know... It might depend on the gun... But I could be totally wrong. What I do know is that early on in your pregnancy you're most prone to losing the baby so the most important time to take precautions is now. Definitely check with a doctor...
Avatar f tn Btw i totally respect all cultures and religions and I personally have my own in which I do not believe in all that superstitious stuff.
Avatar f tn You should be fine and so should your baby. The whole reason for the sonograms are to track your progress to make sure your baby is safe. It is a darn if you do and darn if you dont type of situation but there has been no real proof that this is dangerous. Doctors tend to be over protective of the babys anyway and if they felt that harm would come to your child then it would not be considered unless medically necesarry.
Avatar m tn because I thought it was a racing game. It is actually a roller coaster simulator where you lie down on your back. There is no seat belt. I was on the ride for about 40 seconds before I hit stop. Any danger of placental abruption? It has been a few days since the ride and I have not had any bleeding.
Avatar f tn I thought the same! Lol but last week I went to visit my cousins, whom just had a baby, & she's a nurse. I told her a story about how I fell asleep on my back & panicked 40 mins later after waking because I no longer felt my baby move. I thought she was dead, seriously. But finally she moved. My cousin said laying on your back has nothing to do with the baby, it's just for your safety.
Avatar f tn Guessing the size of your belly! Also go to Google and look up baby shower game ideas. That's what we did for mine. There is so many different ones.
1658855 tn?1335211819 I got bugaboo for my baby boy, it's very cute and can be used for infants as well as toddlers.
Avatar f tn I think it is your preference. I will have my daughter in a sleeper for the first month at least. I want her right next to me. The crib is safe, but I will be more comfortable with the sleeper.
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever used a Sony Baby Call Sound-Sensor Nursery Monitor NMT-910Dual or know anyyone who has. I have that and also a Safety 1st Sound Moments Audio Monitor (2rx). Can't make up my mind on which one I want to use even after looking at reviews. I don't want both but can only return the safety first one. But I don't want to return it simply because I can if its the best monitor of the two. Hope someone can help!
4981292 tn?1381256805 My hospital doesn't have nursery either. They do everything they need to right there in your room. The baby doesn't leave your room unless there is something seriously wrong.
