My father ( 80yrs with Alzheimer's/mild Parkinson's symptoms) has been a relatively "low" does of the risperdal for some time now. The nursing staff claim that it keeps him from being agitated. It however, leaves him in a catatonic state. He cannot speak and he sits and nods off with his pupils like pinholes. They claim this is for his "safety" and that of the nursing staff.
In Australia there is a site called kidsafe that rates all available car seats, prams, strollers, cots etc that are available. It rates everything from safety through to prices. Just wondering if perhaps the US has a similar site!
This is a legitimate question for your cardiologist, who knows about your condition and level of fitness and can weigh the risks.

You had no risk for HIV. HIV is only transmitted by having unprotected intercourse, and by sharing intravenous needles.
You should discuss your concerns with your supervisors, because in this profession, you are going to get a lot of bodily fluids on you, and you're going to need to know what constitutes a risk for HIV and other infectious diseases.

No HR is there to help not to stir pots, the last company I worked for was completely horrible other managers all were gossipers. One called me a ***** in front of the DM and she didn't do anything except say "keep it professional" because I started crying..
As a retired nurse who has been splashed with a great many unthinkable substances, your supervisors/superiors were correct that you had nothing to worry about.......but, in my humble opinion, they were unkind and unprofessional to laugh. You had a very legitimate concern and they blew a great teaching opportunity. Shame on them.

I find working to be difficult. I say make sure to stay on your meds, keep in close contact with your support people, and be ready for bad days because they happen. I was an at home mom/ house wife for 5 years in the early 2000s. It was hard going back after that, but at that time I was not diagnosed and no treatment.
I have held this job I'm in now for 2 years, which is the longest I've ever held a job.
I got a playpen with a bassinet for when shes tiny, but have a crib for when shes a few months older. I did the playpen because I can take it on trips, and she can still use it when she gets older, I can have it in the living room or anywhere. A bassinet works for newborns for a short time, so in the long run I'd do a playpen with a bassinet option, don't have to get the big ol fancy ones either. I think I spent 60 on mine. And a crib that grows with your child is good as well.
I think it is your preference. I will have my daughter in a sleeper for the first month at least. I want her right next to me. The crib is safe, but I will be more comfortable with the sleeper.
I am a female with herpes 2 for 21years, am on meds. My male friend is SO scared when using a condom that he will not go into me very far for fear of getting it on the unprotected part of him. Obviously I do not have sex if I have leisons, which I have not had for a long time. Also what is his chance of getting it on his hands if he touches me there and he has no cuts or anything on his fingers? Are the chances the same for oral sex? I feel like a leper!
