Around 2002 I started having constant chest pains in my whole rib cage which I still have. For the last 3 years I have had phenumona and sever infections in my lungs. Recently an x ray has revealed a persistant spot in my lungs. I am now going to have a cat scan tomorrow.

I realize I can't go to these places and risk the inhalation of lead, carbon monoxide and other harmful substances, but would it be alright to weld in a small shop if I wear a respirator and only work 8 hours a day? I am afraid I will not be able to use my skills as a metal worker through my pregnancy but I can't afford not to work.

Avatar m tn I do believe the US also owns a few here...or at least US oil based companies have offices here in the city I live in. Same with UK companies. BP has offices here, etc. So although they may never have been Canadian owned, they have bought up Canadian oil sands, refineries, etc. We are way too nice in all honesty, and don't take steps to protect ourselves the way we should. It angers a lot of people. We shouldn't keep other countries out, especially not friends and neighbors.

It's now 6.20pm and I still can't hear. I've slept in my side, used a tea towel soaked in hot water and q-tips but nothing works! This is really doing my head in.
