I learned some new compensatory skills courtesy of our friends. These were aimed at safety and comfort in kitchen. I thought I would share them 1. put everything within easy reach 2. watch about wearing long sleeves around the stove...fire hazard 3. get a comfy stool to set on while you are doing tasks, i.e chopping vegetables 4. if a knife is sharp then it is too sharp 5. keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen 6. set a timer as a reminder to ck things on the stove or in the oven 7.

We made sure that nothing dangerous was in the cabinets. Now she is starting to go into kitchen drawers and pull out items (and grab items off counters). My wife will look at what item the child has removed and then decide if she can play with it, whereas I think we should make the drawers and counters off limits. I want to be consistent so I'm looking for some guidance.

Occasionally Nemo ventures over the barrier(only a foot high..so I can easily step over) he'll come out and stare Marley down than jump back over to safety.....however my Sami, the bigger boy and the most aggressive is also a 'scaredy cat' he refuses to leave the safety of the bedroom..

Well I almost caused a fire kitchen bc my pot with oil boiled over. Thank god my husband was here to help me put it out. My pregnancy brain just totally took over and I forgot haha. Whoops. It scared the living poop out of me. Has anybody else been in this situation before? Prego brain takes over.

I'm a little confused by your question but doctors usually recommend at least a 3 -6 month interval before getting pregnant after a miscarriage.

I slipped and fell last week in my kitchen but i fell on my side. I didn't feel any pain or see any bruising but i just feel different. I'm 16w+2 and still haven't felt my baby move.

-) ) well I was then rushed to the hospital and immediately admitted. After walking for 1hr and actively resting for 1hr they decided to check my progress. I had dilated to 4cm and was making great progress. So they kept me moving and attempting to further my progress. I ended up getting an epidural at 5cm and believe that was the great eat decision I had ever made. Because after about 6 more hrs my labor came to a grinding hault. I made it to 9cm and made it no farther.

The grocery store we shop at has a stamp on the meat that says "grown and harvested in the U.S". I always think that doesn't necessarily make me feel more comfortable, because of the antibiotics and hormones being fed to the animals as they're being raised and the conditions of some of the packing plants.
