6229533 tn?1383271177 Any tips on how to labor as long as possible at home?? I want to give birth with no interventions and I know that's a great way to start off the process!
Avatar f tn m going to get exhausted and lose sleep if I keep going like this. So eventually I would like to find a way to make money at home... Do any of you work from home? Any tips or companies I could apply for?? Thanks!
Avatar n tn It is very serious though to run away from school as this puts his safety at risk. I would in the mean time, discipline him at home in ways you feel are appropriate based on his behavior at school. Don't feel that you can't do this just because the behavior happens outside of the home. Also, try talking to the teacher and offer what you do at home-this could help at school.
Avatar m tn I see you are asking about this at home. I've read that it is done in a doctor's office and costs about 500 dollars for 6 treatments.
Avatar n tn Can you please send me a link or tell me where to find a tutorial video to watch on how to use MedHelp with tips, suggestions, safety tips....etc., etc.,. Thank You!!!
Avatar f tn I know this is an old post, but just be warned, i induced my own labor for my 2nd child and I endured 36 hours of labor with no epidural because I wouldnt dilate. They finally ended up doing a c section because it was stressing the baby.
Avatar m tn Rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Be very gentle and don't go too deep. The best Q-tips are safety ones that are extra fat. They are hard to find.
Avatar f tn I really wish they had an at home, hand held machine where you could do your own ultrasounds. Ya know just so you could see your baby anytime you wanted too etc!
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm 7Weeks along, and I'm a registered nurse in home care. A client I see often has 6 dogs, all of different breeds a cat, and a bunch of birds. The house is unclean. There is often dog feces and urine on the floor and the birds are allowed to fly around and poop where they please. My concern is that being in this house may be unsafe for me and my child. Any thoughts?
648910 tn?1290663083 I learned some new compensatory skills courtesy of our friends. These were aimed at safety and comfort in kitchen. I thought I would share them 1. put everything within easy reach 2. watch about wearing long sleeves around the stove...fire hazard 3. get a comfy stool to set on while you are doing tasks, i.e chopping vegetables 4. if a knife is sharp then it is too sharp 5. keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen 6. set a timer as a reminder to ck things on the stove or in the oven 7.
675347 tn?1365460645 With Christmas nearly here it's a good thing to think ahead, and think "Dog". Dogs are great scroungers, thieves, counter-surfers, etc, So be one step ahead of them! DON'T let them eat what they like. Some Christmas treats are very dangerously toxic for dogs, such as: *Christmas cake. *Mince pies, *Turkey skin. *Chocolate treats. *Onions -or anything which has been cooked with onions, including stuffing. *Alcohol, or anything containing alcohol. *Turkey or chicken bones.
7157455 tn?1393303849 I just downloaded an app called 101 pregnancy safety tips, it seems very helpful and has the answers to some of the questions I've seen on here.
Avatar f tn My 8 year old son was diagnosed with ADD over a year ago, and prescribed Concerta. His mother and I are divorced. I learned that she is giving him Melatonin at night to 'help him sleep'. This was not prescribed by the pediatrician; it is over-the-counter. I do not give him any sleep aids when he is with me. He has no sleep issues in my home. He falls asleep within 15 minutes of being put to bed.
Avatar f tn Oh dear. Any thoughts on how to get through this? I picked my daughter up on my way home from leaving work and she's been unbelievably well behaved and sweet but oh gosh. Any tips ladies?
9062499 tn?1426957962 Is it safe to to travel to my home country at around 14 weeks? It is about 8 hours on plane really worried as I already have varicose veins n scared of having swollen feet. Any tips would b appreciated. Also is it OK to have a travel vaccination?
Avatar n tn Hello i was looking up videos online about home births because thats what ive always wanted to do and then i came across these ladys that have unassisted births at home with no midwife or medical help. It looks like an incredible experience. Was anyome else thinking of taking this route? And if so how do you begin to prepare for this?
Avatar n tn I am 17+ weeks pregnant with #2. I decided this time I would absolutely not repeat my first birth experience- hospital with epidural and completely unhappy with the experience. I have a midwife (who works with an ob) and am planning a home birth. I have been very firm in my decision & truly desire a home birth. I am thus far a perfect canidate and there are zero medical reasons that would make this an unwuse decisikn. My spouse & parents are tenatively supportive.
Avatar f tn What do you binge eat? I think much of the problem (which thankfully is no longer my problem), is having temptation at hand (along with giving in to temptation, forming the habit, and finding the habit is Really Hard to Break). An early step towards solving the problem of binge eating for me was to stop having my favourite foods in the house (& going down to the local grocers for one, small amount to bring home).
Avatar f tn NS said he didn't find anything unexpected, and I don't think he was looking for anything in particular. He was also surprised at how quickly I noticed improvement in my breathing. I tire easily and my head/neck hurt constantly, but it's great to be at home! At least at home I can manage my own pain meds -- I didn't have a pump, so had to beg for meds all the time when pain got bad...then had to WAIT for pharmacy to send up my flexeril. So lame!
Avatar f tn Can anyone give me any tips for working? I work at McDonalds and still have to do heavy lifting and do just as much work as everyone else.. I also don't get to pee when I need to which is painful. Any tips on how I can get them to go a bit easier on me without people thinking I'm receiving special treatment?
