Hehe, I love "In the Ghetto" too, there is something about it. I really like Elvis, so, I like most of his songs.

His theme was sugar and all the songs about it. His DJ rap is as cool as his song lyrics that I grew up to. He ends the show explaining why someone should brush their teeth after eating sugar. He got down to the brass tacks about bacteria and waiting an hour before brushing. And he sounded convincing too. Here I was driving along, having Bob Dylan tell me to brush my teeth. . ..

This really has nothing to do about anything. \,but Cheri and i were talking about songs and the subject of prom songs came up. I graduayes in 1979, and our theme song for the senior prom was " Freebird", so if noone minds i would like to se what some of your were, and if this lame just tell me.....

Just taking a survey on those that have kept their headphones on for the duration of their detox. Just wanted to know what songs have helped the most. For me it's been Dreaming by BT. For some reason it really resonated with me this go around. Check it out on the YouTube if feel so inclined.

I love the song small bump by ed shereen but it's really sad.

My girl starts kickin all crazy wen I put rap or hip hop on phone nd purr it on my belly. She has a few fave songs lol too cute.

I have a few mostly old. "Brother Can You Spare a Dime,"by various artists, a song that came out after the 1st World War, Neil Diamond's,"Sweet Caroline," I only put the names of two because my list is about 75 years long. I love music and have no problem listening to anything from opera to rap.

I love "Silent Night" and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing". But, then I also love "Frosty" and "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer." At 46, I still have to watch Rudolph and Frosty every year at Christmas. I have the DVDs so I can watch them whenever I want - including "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." The other DVD I have to watch every year is "It's a Wonderlife Life." I cry every year when I watch that. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

ve become hooked on Bruce Springsteen who to the best of my knowledge does not sing about drugs nor remind me about drugs...the problem is I find so many of his songs so sad they bring me to tears at times.

Hey all. I am trying to put together a little book of positive notes for my sad days. Do any of you have songs that help you get through the tough days or quotes? I just want something I can keep with me whenever things get tough. I really want to go home, or atleast go outside.
