Running foot powder

Common Questions and Answers about Running foot powder

foot

Avatar f tn You can try an ice or cool pack to your feet before and after running, foot powder to help, a foot spray for athletes foot. These things have been known to help. New shoes and socks or these methods does often solve the problem for runners. One other note on shoes is that maybe your feet have grown a tiny bit and so your shoes still fit but are tight, all of them. Too tight shoes can cause this. If that doesn't help, I would say that you need to see a doctor at this point.
338416 tn?1420045702 s quite foot drop yet, but I certainly have to *think* about lifting my foot up. They make a foot brace that would hold my foot up, but it's plastic and clunky. I don't think I would have started running again if it wasn't for the weight. I get so frustrated, because I'm really trying to restrict my calories, and it doesn't do a bit of good. Working out on the trainer was exercise, but it just wasn't enough. I'm starting to wonder if I have a thyroid problem.
Avatar f tn Hi, IT could be a very mild case of Athlete' foot or Tinea pedis. It is a parasitic fungal infection of the epidermis of the human foot. The term "athlete's foot" refers to the disease and not the organism (fungus) that causes it. Several different fungi, called dermatophytes, can cause tinea pedis. The fungal infection is often treated with topical antifungal agents, which can take the form of a spray, powder, cream, or gel.
Avatar m tn Could try an OTC jock itch/anti fungal cream, and use a powder in your undies for athletes foot, sprays work also. Works well for my husband when he's training for marathons.
Avatar f tn My dermatologist recommended I try Zeasorb Foot Powder, but it is discontinued where I live. Can anyone suggest a foot powder similar to this one? I've tried Gold Bond and it makes my feet worse.
Avatar n tn This can damage the shoes.Instead, sprinkle antifungal foot powder (Pedi-Dry Foot Powder) into shoes after keeping them in the sun. Also wear cotton socks. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Warm regards.
545896 tn?1214447816 Using some form of powder before putting your socks on can help to keep the feet dry. Using talcum powder, cornstarch or foot powder is an excellent way to avoid moisture in the foot area. There are special lubricants, sprays and creams that specifically prevent the occurrence of foot blisters. If you find that blisters are appearing at specific spots on your feet, applying these treatments prior to walking may help keep the blister from forming.
Avatar m tn ve got a ctuster of blisters on the arch of my my foot that seem to be getting worse. I bought some gold bond foot powder spray today I think I should of got the straight powder. Should I be applying any other meds or pop the blisters before they get bigger? I cleaned with alcohol also.
Avatar m tn (I know its hard to imagine, but this is what I have noticed) A few days later I can see the blister like things again on my foot and almost in the exact same spot. Now that area of the foot becomes extremely painful when I begin walking/running (exercise) and almost becomes unbearable and find myself having to lay down and get off my feet for any comfort. These blister things don't itch they just become very painful.
1211508 tn?1343079605 First of all I am assuming my affliction is athlete's foot. So here's the situation. For a while now (several years) I am prone to getting these bright red, burning and itchy annoyance on the tops of my toes, right behind the base of the toenail. It doesn't usually extend beyond the knuckle of the toe though....just in that area between the top knuckle and the base of the toenail. Not ever toe is affected either. Maybe just 1 or 2.
Avatar m tn one year he ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks. its starts out on his feet like athletes foot then turns into horrible itiching blisters, then raw flesh then it spreads to his hands. when he went to the hospital it had started spreading up his legs. we can't figure out what causes this. please help us he is having the problem again right now.
1541952 tn?1317816629 people who blister tend to sweat a lot. this allows for friction and increased motion: which causes blister. the pads will help, but i also recommend spraying your feet with an antiperspirant and powdering the shoes.
Avatar f tn And use foot powder to help keep your feet dry. If the blisters still persist then get it evaluated from a dermatologist/podiatrist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar n tn My BF has had the same kind of problem. His doctor said to replace all underwear. Also wash down there with a mild soap after anything that makes you sweaty. The doctor also told him to wear loose cotton shorts to bed that breathe. My BF also sprays the inside of his boxers before he puts them on with a jock itch/athletes foot spray. It dries to a powder texture. He hasn't had it come back yet - it's been six months. Hopefully it's gone for good!
Avatar n tn After sitting or lying down, even driving a car for a period of time, my feel get extremely painful, especially in the area between the ball of the foot and the heel. the heel never gets sore. It takes up to 2 hours of walking about before the pain subsides, but it returns as soon as I sit again. The pain almist feels as if someone has taken a knife and shredded the bottom of my feet. It is the same in both feet.
Avatar n tn I have had a very bad athletes foot problem on my left foot between my small toe for over 4 months that wont go away don't matter what creams i have tried. Please help me. EzEl...
10561091 tn?1414497354 It is likely that your fiancé has athlete's foot. This is caused by a fungus. You can get a cream for athlete's foot from the pharmacy and also a medicated talcum powder for it too. He really needs to wash and dry his feet thoroughly and wear clean socks every day, which I appreciate is not always possible for him.
Avatar f tn Yup its sweat. I have really big boobs DDD and I get the same thing, but its way worse during pregnancy. I just put baby powder under them and in between to keep the area dry, if it's not moist it wont smell or itch. It grows nasty bacteria from it being hot and moist. Make sure to keep the area dry or a rash will develop. Also dry under them really well after showering, again moisture is the enemy.
Avatar f tn I know what your talking about and my doctor told me to use foot powder. I guess it depends where you have it tho. My boobs were so itchy I literally stuck my entire hand in my bra ANYWHERE i was and just went at it! It looked like I was starting a lawn mower I was scratching so hard lmao.
Avatar n tn The next morning I found more on both hands and also on one foot( toe and heel. I felt like I was getting an actual blister on my foot while working the night before but after investigating the next morning it was the same as what was on my hands. So I began to think that it wasn't a splinter or it wouldn't have been on my foot as I had on shoes. I only handled the insultation a little bit before I remembered to get on gloves. The bumps really don't itch but they do hurt.
Avatar f tn My feet can feel like I have really bad Athletes Foot; a strong burning sensation under my toes. They can also feel like someone has just droppes a bowling ball on them. Sometimes its both :-) My doc and I are abut to start investigating remedies.
Avatar f tn Is running on a treadmill for 30 mins a day a good way to start loosing weight ? I currently do no excersise at all.....and what is a good way to loose stomach weight ??? Help me please.im 17 and 166 lbs...im only 5 foot tall...and I look horrible...
Avatar m tn I'm really not sure how this started but I have a couple of theories. Before I get into the theories I'll give you the background on my condition. I've had ongoing athelete's foot fugus for as long as I can remember. I've used Tanactin foot spray and gold bond powder to get rid of it but eventually it always comes back. A few months ago I had gotten what I think was a really bad case of jock itch.
