519156 tn?1265181787 I fell on my butt out of my truck in February. Started running, did 2 5Ks in 2 weeks time. After that I have had terrible pain on my left hip (bursitis?) Now my lymph nodes are swollen and its achey all the time. Also have a small lump on the bottom of my left foot. Is that from lymph nodes draining? I have had STD testing and my paps have came back normal. What type of infection could it be? I do notice some more discharge than normal..usually the 2 weeks before my period.

645800 tn?1466860955 Try to think of a movie where you are filming a truck going along the road. Then you edit out a seconds worth of the movie so that the truck is instantly in another position. That is what it was like. My brother has also had this happen to him once though with worse results as the stopping of vision information lasted for a longer period. In his case he ended up running into a tree.
Avatar m tn pain in foot in the morning & from bed while putting foot on the floor heavy pain
338416 tn?1420045702 I've been trying to lose weight the last few months, and it's been very difficult. Every time I lose a pound, I seem to gain it back the next day. So I started running again. At first I started running about seven minutes, until my foot started dragging and I was out of breath. I'm definitely out of condition! Right now I'm up to fifteen minutes before my foot starts dragging. Then I walk the rest of the way.
Avatar f tn He can put it to the floor and hold his weight on it however when he walks he drags his toes to the point he makes the top of his foot bleed where he drags it along the floor. If he holds his leg up and in front of him he can control his toes he can stretch them and apply pressure if he decides to drag them down your leg. But when the leg is aimed at the floor the foot is useless he has no control over it apart from the fact the leg can hold his weight if he flops it down on the floor properly.
Avatar f tn I have pretty severe foot drop. I first noticed it while sitting on the toilet, lol!!! My right foot didn't touch the floor (the front of it). I realized I couldn't raise the toes toward my shin. I get spasticity there now, and I have greatly reduced sensation from the knee down. (That is, except for the severe pain inside the ankle and calf). I was given a brace, which does help with the pain - especially when my muscles try to raise the toes and get sore).
Avatar m tn Anyway I walked barefoot in the locker room and shower that morning. I was wondering. If someone had bleed or had body fluids on the floor or the shower floor and I stepped in it with athletes foot (like I said the only part that had a break in the second skin layer was the size of a pen point that had scabbed over) would this be a risk for HIV? What if that small wound had somehow opened hypothetically? HIV becomes non transferable when exposed to air correct?

Avatar n tn Start in a seated position on the floor, back straight, legs extended straight out in front of you with your toes pointed up. Cross your right leg over your left, so your right calf is perpendicular to your torso. Place your right hand on your right knee and push it slowly down toward the floor until you feel a light stretch in your buttocks and hip. Release, then repeat on the other side.
5615074 tn?1378316840 To make matters worse I peed enough to have it seen run down my leg and out of the bottom onto the floor. If I had worn underwear, it wouldnt have been so badly noticable. I finished my work day and went home to take a shower jnstead of resting like I normally do.
Avatar f tn I have been out of work since Wednesday for a foot injury and my job is hesitant on letting me come back concerned for my safety since i am 8 months pregnant. I'm getting nervous bc i have bills and I'm not sure how I'm going to maintain. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn Your father could be having poor sensory perception of the changes in floor surface, that could be due to age. As a result the he just freezes or changes his style of walking to avoid slipping. Also when he is around others, there are so many other perceptions, that his sensory perception of the floor surface further decreases.

Avatar m tn I'm a runner and recently got a pain on top of foot, as if my laces were too tight 9they may have been!) recently been doing a lot of off road running on uneven hard surface. it seems to be in the Extensor Hallucis Brevis area and there is a squashy lump the size of a smallish coin in that area, which isn't really painful to touch. If I loosen my laces in that area I can walk and do a bit of running without too much discomfort.
Avatar f tn Lunge forward with rt. foot until left knee touches the floor. Then lunge with lt. foot until right knee touches the floor. Repeat 5 - 10 times. Start slow so you don't pull a muscle or injure yourself.
Avatar n tn My Collie, Adam, had this same thing happen to him when he was born. Two of the toes on his right rear foot were removed by a littermate who nursed too vigorously on his foot instead of the mother's nipple. Adam is a year old now, and walking is not a problem for him, nor is most kinds of regular navigation.
Avatar m tn Now recently, since about 3 weeks ago, the problem got a lot worse and more frequent. I cannot walk normally without the external part of my foot dragging on the floor. If I concentrate and walk slowly, I can forcefully keep the foot somewhat straight, but if I do it for a while, my foot and leg get really tired and sore, so this is not something I can just start doing every time I walk. I could never notice this problem while exercising / running, it's always when walking.
Avatar m tn It is a sharp pain whenever I put weight on it, but it also hurts to try to lift my foot up off the floor. Often times it hurts when I am just sitting and not moving. I cannot bend my foot up or down, and have difficulty moving my toes. The Dr. suggested that it could be some type of nerve damage, but I am unsure of what the symptoms are. Any real help or info would be immensely appreciated. Thank you for your time!
1442701 tn?1286383987 If you watch the floor when you are walking it won’t be so bad.
867582 tn?1311627397 Mine used to be just a burning pain, but now I feel like there is a marble in the center of the sole of my foot (in both feet at different times) - hurts to walk. I have felt the bottom of my foot and there is a hardness present (not a callus - it's deeper) - about 3" long - either a tendon, a muscle or a bone - but very firm when symptoms occur. When not symptomatic, I cannot feel it. There have been times when I felt like a muscle on the bottom of my feet was having major spasms!
Avatar f tn Yesterday while grocery shopping at Target I noticed some red streaks on the floor. I had on flip flops and do have a big crack on my foot from dry soles. What are the risks if that was blood on the floor? Thank you for your help!!
Avatar f tn Yesterday I noticed that there was a temperature difference in my feet on my hardwood floors. My right foot felt the cool floor correctly as cool, but my right foot felt warmth...and maybe a little thick. There was a pain in my groin and I thought that something in my pocket had poked me. It was sore to the touch but no lump felt. Yesterday and today that pain has come and gone. In addition I have felt the same soreness at different points along the right side of my body.
Avatar f tn But now i had to go see a specialist in allergies who put me on an inhaler for cough n also two types of anti allergy pills. I hv been hving bad cough n flu with running nose n watery eyes. Felt so much body aches n pains like i was run down by a truck. Gradually the med seems to work n i m getting mucus while coughing. 1749417 tn?1331996992 Hey it sounds to me like it might be something like spasticity, though it could be something a lot simpler. If you think of runners or the like, calf muscle get tight from use, when running or walking etc and its why stretching is so important before and after they train. A few things to concider, what were you doing prior to sitting down for awhile, is it possibly the prior activity and not the sitting thats causing it?
Avatar f tn He explained that a surgery would only take care of 20 percent of the constant pain and that he will have pain for the rest of his life which will eventually get worse with age. he is only 28. The question is isn't there any thing out there besides narcotics like nerve block or something like that. He can not take pain medicine at his work due to he drives a big trash truck for a living. Will please somebody point us in the right direction.
