Someone mentioned do not waste your money on a foot doctor, and I totally agree. What I usually do is go into the nail salon and get a 15 min foot massage and It helps. Also I do an exercise where I stand straight and I place both hands on the wall in front of me, one foot bent a little and the other away from me and stretch it that way.
But, when I get tired, I still trip over my right foot. I have tried running, but it's like my right foot has lost its shock absorber. Maybe it would be more accurate to say that it's ,uch harder for that foot to push off the ground? I feel more impact when I land on it and then have a harder time pushing off with it. If I focusd on it, maybe it would improve. Probably best to start with a threadmill, rather than hard surfaces like pavement. Good luck!

I went to the ER when it first started and was really bad. My entire left side was tingling, including the left side of my face, my left arm, leg and foot. It only happens on the LEFT side. When I walked it felt like my left ankle was just going to give out on me, it felt really weak. I was also EXREMELY dizzy. I was admitted and these symptoms were strong and lasted for over a day. I was in the hospital for 2 days and they ran a CT scan, an MRI, blood tests, and all came back negative.
I am 6ft2 tall and lean only weighing 73KG's I am muscular for my weight and not a bean pole. I am having pain problems when I run. I generally land mid foot and have a relaxed pace with a slower leg turn over. The problem usually kicks in around 15-20 mins usually after 3-4km's of running. I own new running shoes and have custom made orthotic arch support. I run on different surfaces such as gravel, grass, tredmill and mixed surfaces with the same issue.

It was roughly a year ago, I was going for a lay-up during a basketball game when i was pushed from behind while up in the air. I land with my left foot with forward momentum. I felt that my knee took all the force of the landing, and eventually, it gave and i collapse to the ground. The rest of the day, i was left with a mild sharp pain. AND NOW, ontop of all of that, Yesterday (the 27th), I was running the mile in PE (which isn't abnormal) and right beside my bellybutton and in that region on the left side, everytime I would land on my left foot, it felt like there was something hollow in there, or pressurized just in that region. The best way I could describe it as is like a running cramp but lower in the left abdomen region.
Some people have told me that my symptoms sound neurological, but then the neurologist I saw last month said that if I've never gone blind or been paralized then I don't have a neurological problems and that none of my symptoms (including dropping things, tripping, running into door frames, etc.........) are not neurological. I don't know what to think any more :/ I don't want to be treated like I'm crazy any more. The last 2 drs acted as if I was lying about my symptoms.

A new one for me has been on my little flat land bike rides, I have an old symptom of going numb from the waist down. After I rest for 20 - 60 minutes, everything's fine. But something new has cropped up this spring, and that's my left foot stays numb for an extra 3 hours after everything else normalizes. Sounds familiar :o) It's more than just being clumsy. It seems to be a combo of weakness, uncoordination, and the inability for my hand to 'remember' it's holding something without some concious effort on my part (not sure if this makes sense).
Daisy is now running in meadows in heaven. The vet we have is amazing and was so kind. She left quickly and we know there were spirits there to take her to heaven. Over this past month, it has gotten so bad that he cannot run or walk without this dramatic limp in the one leg, than on his other left twitch leg it has gotten worse to the point that he actually trips because of the sudden extension of his foot while he is walking or running, because the foot catches the ground. The limp seems to get worse the more active he is.
