Avatar n tn I am not able to walk much on my foot and I can not put my toes to the floor. When I do walk on it, I have to walk on the side of my foot because the pain is so bad. I do not know where to go from here. Does anyone have any suggestions???
Avatar f tn I can walk and bear weight on this foot but if anything comes into contact with it - like my kids keep managing to step on that particular foot - it really, really hurts, it almost stings. The area that is affected is along the edge of my foot - so almost as if it's running down from my little toe, towards my ankle. When I feel this area, it feels very tender and I can feel a small bump under the skin.
Avatar m tn I was skipping for about 1hour and the next day i woke up and could literally not walk as was getting pains in my leg just to the side of my shin and also in my foot. They have still not improved and was wondering on any tips, etc?
3851566 tn?1348338001 I stubbed my foot very hard running, and there is a lot of blue bruising on my toes and around my joints and on the top of my foot. After I stubbed it I got really hot for a few minutes and light headed. That made me think I probably broke something in my foot. It is very painful to try to walk on it, but other than that it doesn't bother me that much its not in constant pain.
Avatar n tn I would recommend you going to the ER sooner rather than later. I'm suprised the paramedic didn't tell you to do this? That's a LOT of force to have a car go over your foot and will normally do extensive damage to a persons foot. Better to be safe than sorry in my opinion and go and get checked out. Let us know what you decide. I hope you are ok and the pain subsides soon.
338416 tn?1420045702 I've been trying to lose weight the last few months, and it's been very difficult. Every time I lose a pound, I seem to gain it back the next day. So I started running again. At first I started running about seven minutes, until my foot started dragging and I was out of breath. I'm definitely out of condition! Right now I'm up to fifteen minutes before my foot starts dragging. Then I walk the rest of the way.
Avatar m tn I am 34 year old female with chronic bilateral ankle pain. The pain in my right foot is terrible..my ankle aches all the time, my left foot is bearable. I can't wear shoes other than sneakers, and even wearing sneakers my foot aches. I was diagnosed with sinus tarsi syndrome. Originally in May 2015, I had grade 2 ankle sprain of ATFL ligament and bone edema in calcaneus...this was after completing exercise program T25 and running.
Avatar f tn Six months later I was diagnosed with fractures in both heels and have been in two casts, crutches and another walking boot. I am still in pain! I just had an MRI that shows Marrow Edema in four bones of my foot. What does this mean? I do not see the Dr. again for two weeks! I can't be on my feet for any length of time with suffering excruciating pain!
Avatar n tn Hi, I have a pain in my right foot. It is on the top of my foot and only last a few seconds then goes away. Seems to happen most when I am relaxed or laying down. I can't recall any injuries, there is no bruising and does not hurt to touch or press. It is quite painful while it's happening and has been going on for the last 3 days. Does anyone know what this might be or how I can stop it from happening?
Avatar f tn It is literally just localized to that one are and it is not my whole ankle or foot. When I walk on just the upper part of my foot there is no pain as well as sitting and twisting my foot around there is no pain. As I stay off of it it does not get worse and it actually felt a little better this Thursday morning. Although the pain increases on it as I use it more. I am very concerned and I am running a half marathon this coming Sunday.
Avatar n tn As there is very little soft tissue to protect the top of the foot, bone injuries are common. The second, third and fourth Metatarsals are the most commonly injured bones due to something falling on your foot. Without any fracture you would need physiotherapy and anti inflammatory medications to decrease the pain and inflammation. I would also suggest you to wear proper footwear. Take care!
Avatar m tn I have been playing football for 3 years now and no serious injuries in the past two. A few days ago i started getting a pain on my left foot about 2-3 inches above the big toe. It hurts the most when I walk up stairs or walk in general. When playing football i dont feel any pain what so ever because my mind is focused on the game. I am a Defensive linemen and i am 6'5" 290 lbs if that helps. There is no bruising or swelling. Please help me!

Avatar f tn My wife has severe spasticity in her left arm and left leg (mostly in the hand and foot). This is accompanied by severe pain in her neck/back and severe pain throughout left side when attempting to move. She is a soldier with the US Army and they have been unable to find a cause for the condition. The most recent MRI shows "moderate central canal stenosis athe the C5-C6 level without significant neural foraminal narrowing.
Avatar n tn I've get heart palpitations a lot, espicially after i exercise and I'm starting to get injured more frequently. I think i have a stress fracture on my left foot kind of under the big toe (ball of the foot) that hasn't gone away since last November.
Avatar m tn In the last 2-3 years have acquired severe pain in ankle and foot! I get a burning pain in center of foot and at the ball behind big toe it stays sore to the touch.. .. Any recommendations!???
Avatar f tn Problem is mild, reason of the problem is not so serious. The pain is the symptom you perceive and it is due to the packing of many muscles and tendons on the foot and also the blood vessels and nerves which supply it. You bear the weight of your whole body on the foot so pain is perceived more with ankle injuries. Take care!
Avatar n tn I rolled my left foot in a hole while running in July '09. I have had pain in the left side of my foot in the heel area. I can apply pressure massaging the heel area and feel a sharp pain. I had mornings where my first step out of bed was agonizing pain. The more I walked the more it hurt. I have used ice/heat/ibuprofen and nothing has helped. I started wearing my running shoe to bed on my left foot. I believe it has kept my foot straight at night and allows for healing.
Avatar m tn However, there is some pain in lateral movement and pain at the bottom of my foot when i cut (in basketball). Also, when I rotate my ankle clockwise, there is pain when my toe reaches about 4 o'clock (the original direction of the sprain) About how much longer will it take before it is 100% or close? Also, what is a tendon damage during a sprain? Could I have some tendon damage or ligament tear?
Avatar n tn Hi all. Quick question... Why in the world does my left foot/ankle area hurt EVERY morning when I get out of bed. I had a simliar post about a "weird foot problem" a month or two ago, and it's still bothering me--only worse now. It's like my ankle on that side is so weak. I fell in the flower bed a couple of days ago, and running around the yard with my niece is a scary ordeal because my ankles feel so weak.
Avatar f tn Hello, Thanks for that info. She hasn't had any dental treatment or as far as I know a pedicure, but it's interesting to hear you say that the infection appeared in your foot even though it was caused by your tooth. She's certainly had plenty of sports injuries in other parts of her body though so perhaps it could be caused by that. I hope that you get better soon.
Avatar f tn Hello, I started feeling an odd stinging sensation on the side of my foot (little toe side). I thought maybe it was a bee sting but nothing was there. The stinging would come and go so I took a closer look and felt a hard lump the size of a dime right on the bone of my foot. I don't know if it has been there all along or is something new. IT is bone hard and does not move. I have feet that are boney with bunions so I didn't know if this was just another aspect of that.
Avatar n tn There is no trauma-related or exercise-related component -- I have no known athletic injuries inducing pain of this kind. No past foot-related issues of any kind. No pains of this sort anywhere else in my body. Ideas?
