So I have my baby already but I am begging you all do research on vaccines before your baby arrives. I have my 8 week old girl and she just got her first set of shots and she's very sick after them she's been crying like never before her eyes are in so much pain her body gets so stiff. She has pooped at least 2 times every day since birth now she hasn't pooped since the vaccine it's been 4 days!!!!
(name of clinic and doctor) Does he also have the Rotavirus vaccine? What do you think about how the vaccines are preserved? (electricity outages, etc.) What is the cost? My baby boy received the first and only dose of rotarix last friday(20/02/2009). He is having reddish rashes over his face and from today morning he had slight fever of 99 degrees F. In India immunisation schedule does not include Rotavirus & Pneumococcal. But due to doctor's insistence we agreed to give him the doses, although lately. Doctor is asking to give him one more Pneumocoaccal after baby attains 12 months age. My query is what is the reason behind this allergic reaction?

25m planning to get the hpv vaccines. I read that there are some nasty adverse effects, fainting, soreness, fever, etc. even death. Just how safe is this vaccine? It's giving me a bit of anxiety just from reading some of these articles.
d advise you to get the Gardisil vaccine (to protect yourself and any future partners..the vaccine protects you for 4 years)...ASAP..I wouldn't be giving her oral..especially if she has an active infection.using a dental dam will reduce but not completely protect you..get the vaccine! If during fingering you then immediately put your fingers in your mouth or any any gental area..could spread it..
As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.
You had NO RISK for HIV and you do not need to test.
You acknowledge that you have OCD, and that's where this is coming from. Medical professionals don't take careless risks like that. No one has ever gotten HIV from receiving a vaccine.
I believe in vaccinations but I don't think that a small baby that does not have their immune system fully established should get bombarded by vaccinations. I believe in having the absolutely necessary vaccines but spacing them out so that hte baby has a chance to develop normally without much intervention. I hate unnecessary medical intervention even for me.
Anyway i also think that there are some vaccines that are not necessary like the the flu shot or the measels vaccine.

HPV the strain that causes cancer strikes anus and believe cervix...so take advice of my oncologist. Get the vaccine. Believe you are in right age bracket.
i know that there are always side effects to getting any vaccine/shot, my concern is if there are any reasons not to get the vaccine again. is there any danger in getting the vaccine a second time?

My daughter is 3 months and on prosobee. I told the doctor about her spitting up and she gave my little girl acid reflux meds. It's reduced the spit up tremendously.
Other yearly vaccines include distemper combination, Lyme vaccine, lepto vaccine and others depending on your location. These are boosted yearly after the first year. Distemper vaccine requires 2 to 3 vaccines prior to the first year, Lyme and Lepto require two.
Some vets preform vaccine titers after year 2 instead of just giving the vaccine. If the titers are adequate the booster vaccine does not have to be given for that year.

I read about hpv online but I'm still not sure how to ease my mind about this subject since men can't be tested for hpv.
