I'm 20 years old, I never started to develop any of these symptoms until I started smoking weed. From elementary school, I was bad, active and a class clown... always like attention. From middle school, I was kind of shy always used to sit in the back of class and never like to be called on by the teacher. Those are typical things in middle school many kids go thru. Around high school I was shy and quiet as well but was more outspoken (because I felt I needed to mature).

for sometime he had given up drinking and smoking, but now is back to his old ways again. His family is not v forthcoming on the issue. They are not ready to admit if he's had the problem in the past. He is not ready to seek medical help. The father consulted a psychiatrist sometime back. He has prescribed Risperidone liquid. Says this will help to check the suspicious nature and will agree to see a doctor. The day he takes alcohol, the medicine is not given.
The biggest conclusion I could come to from all of these is a bad interaction between Marijuana, Benztropine, and Risperidone. Because the two days I had been on Benztropine after prescribed it I smoked marijuana on it which gave me adverse reactions and then three days later all of my symptoms developed.

It is most similar to brain damage and dementia, but also has some symptoms of dissociation, including extreme derealization and depersonalization. I've done tons and tons of research and there is no known psychological disorder or neurological disease (that I've researched) that could be causing my unusual symptoms and everything points to the fact that it is brain damage. I am already suffering from Bipolar, OCD and GAD. So I am almost 100% sure that it is brain damage.
They are having taking xanax, valium, oxycodone abiem, benztropine, effexor, hydroxyzine and risperidone for mental illness that they are saying I'm crazy. I feel alone because I can not drive, work, stand and even go out with my kids anywhere. I am only 31yrs old and had this since I was 23yrs old and it just happened all of a sudden. It's like my brain is stoned -- a feeling I haven't experienced since I quit smoking pot a year and a half ago. The psychiatrist at the program I attend thought it was major depression and wanted to prescribe Buspar, but I still remember effexor! Im a bit wary. On my second visit to the program psychiatrist I tried to elaborate more, which caused him to suggest .5 mg of Risperidone from a simple SSRI.
My sister rubbed what I thought was blood on my bed (red ink) and I thought it had AIDS germs (how ignorant I was) and I didn't sleep on my own bed for nearly 2 years. I would touch things, and if I didn't do so, voices will tell me "Your mother will die" or "Your dad will get dementia" and I was so scared of these things coming to pass, that I did it all. Touching doorknobs, flicking on and off light switches. I would do this until 8th grade.
I do not have a lot of PVCs per given time frame per se, but the fact of having it and the way it makes me feel tells me to look deeper into this issue. i'm 33 male and I would say average health? Trying to quit smoking, drink occasionally. no other hard drugs etc. I'm on Lorazepam for anxiety (small dose .5mg per 8 hrs as needed) risperidone .25mg twice a day to help with anxiety etc.
I found this article and thought you might find it interesting................ Peace Greenlydia By John M. Grohol, Psy.D. These are the top 25 psychiatric medications by number of U.S. prescriptions dispensed in 2009, according to IMS Health. I’ve also provided their 2005 ranking. I've come to the conclusion that its the things that I do when my dosage is increased like cleaning strenuously for no reason, dealing really fast (I deal poker for my job), chain smoking sometimes, and not getting enough sleep. Its very aggravating but I dont worry myself about it so much anymore because I've had so many of these episodes im used to it Even tho the pain gets a little worse each time this time being the most severe.
I told him the wellbutrin was not working at all and since it is also a med to help you stop smoking, that was not any help either. I am smoking more than I was without wellbutrin. Fifth...I asked to see the Concerta pre-authorization fax he suposedly sent. He said NO...you cannot see that.....WTH....all I wanted to do is verify that he sent it to the correct fax number.. Can't believe he would not let me see something in my file that pertains to "me". I really don't know what to do anymore. Here's what happened today: We planned her day out. She would go get her Health Card replacement, then head over to the library to use the computers to find an apartment. I gave her bus tokens, made her 2 sandwiches was supposed to meet her at the downtown library after I finished work. How things actually played out: She got in contact with her friend, who she promised me she wouldn't see for now.
I average about 2-3 hrs of sleep without sleep medication, I can literally go 36hrs straight with out any sleep, and then I crash and can actually sleep 4-5 hrs, but I am used to it and do not have a problem with work or any other activities. I do not fall asleep at my desk. I am unable to nap.I know my body is fatigued, but my mind will not shut down AT ALL, so NO SLEEP. Just thought I would get opinions on this medication.... Thanks.
D I just love you guys! Such honesty and kindness and willingness to help. It's such a blessing! I think this place attracts some of the most intelligent and caring people in the world. So gratifying. I haven't posted for a very long time ... but I will always keep this thread going. I remember so well the desperation I had to hear from anyone ... anyone about how they got off. Now there's years worth of posts from people round the world who kicked Tram.
(No offense) I've always had IBS all my life, and sometimes had body odor, but both were normal range and had nothing to do with each other. I mean when my IBS had really flared up there was no BO. and I'm hygienic person, I shower everyday for 1 hrs. It started when I stayed in humid hot country. I'm weak to spicy foods or hot weather or stress, so I guess the place was the trigger--I developed severe underarm odor and become really gassy. I'm usually a bit gassy and it's been odorless.
I agree with many pple here we as mothers try and do whatever needs to be done to make our children feel comfortable every case is different my son takes ritilin-concerta-risperidone and seroquel he has adhd anxiety problems mood disorder which they are still evaluating and it might be bi-polar phobia and insomnia and also has vocal tics some days more than others as a mother do people actually think that i want to have my son taking all these medications of course not however am i going to hav
As my father got older, he seemed to get worse, and worse (he wasn't diagnosed or medicated), and I just wonder what it's going to be like as I get older. What does my family and friends have to "look forward to"? I know we can get "stable", but does it continue to get worse? Also, I have a history of dimentia in my family - I wonder if it's linked? Thoughts???
I don't smoke, don't drink, no caffeine, no gum, (I DO talk a lot). Maybe I suck in air then. I don't know. No drugs. For a while I was totally carb-free, preservative free, sugar free, dairy free. I was eating only natural non-acidic foods. Still nothing. As I said before though. I have a weird hormonal thing that when my hormone level drops once a month I start to belch and then get a headache and then comes my cycle.
Unfortunately, that did not last. I started having the same signs again, and when I tested it was positive again. and ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using. As I started a new treatment, I will take the test this week-end to see if there is any progress.
So, what dose did everyone here have their success? and what type of diet/eating plan and exercise plan did you do to help it along? I'm desperate to lose 40 lbs (half of which I gained on Zoloft-no longer taking). PLEASE respond if you had any weightloss on this drug, I'm very curious. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
