Risperdal generic cost

Common Questions and Answers about Risperdal generic cost

risperdal

Avatar m tn Okay, let me ask this a different way? I want to get off the saphris because of the side effects but am afraid of being suicidal again. I'd heard Risperdal is used as a "booster" med for people being on anti-depressants. I take 40mg citalopram (generic version of celexa) and 225 mg Venlafaxine (for effexor) each day, then went to 5mg saphris in am and bedtime. I wondered about using Risperdal hoping not to have the same side effects.
Avatar m tn tenvir from cipla is good and cheap generic, there are also cheaper generics but dont remember the brand
Avatar f tn The longer you take it the less you will care if you ever have sex again. I am obsessive about sex and my dr had to take me off of it so I went to Risperdal. It was a nice alternative after the transfer period. It kept the voices from getting me nuts. I'm on Invega now because the Risperdal ruined my blood pressure and sugar levels. Being diabetic sux rox but I'll live with it if I don't have to hear them telling me I'm scum all the time.
Avatar f tn Lamictal is available in generic form. With antipsychotics the latest one that is available in generic form is Risperdal. However there should be insurance options such as Medicaid or if you are working and its available in your state the Medicaid Buy in for Working People with Disabilities.
1632656 tn?1310693271 Can any one please tell me how much the Generic form of regular 20 mg's and Aderral xr 30 is now. I have recently decided to go back on meds with no insurance,, I am in California and I heard it is still quite expensive,, thank you.
Avatar f tn Patent comes off dec 2009 if I recall. As far as cost - if you have insurance once it's generic it usually goes on the cheaper generic copay list if you have that sort of insurance. so for instance if with your insurance you pay $30 for non-generic drugs on the approved list and $10 for generics on the approved list - you'd be paying $20 less/month for your valtrex. Typically it's 30% reduction in price when it goes generic initially for paying out of pocket. drugstore.
Avatar f tn Is anyone out there taking Teva's version of Nexium? I'm to the point now where I can't get the brand. I was astonished to see that this generic version's co-pay through my insurance is so high! $80 for 90 days. I could understand this price for the brand, but for generic? Anyway, I had tried this version as I had to with my last insurance, it and I didn't do as well on it. I tried it for a week. I an wondering if it was just my imagination.

1801781 tn?1461629469 I am having to switch to the generic version of Lexapro as it is now available. Insurance wants the change and I am OK with it as the cost will be less. My question is has anyone been on it and can they tell a difference??
Avatar n tn the generic in india is absolutely the same as brands, it is just cheap and easy chemicals.....so easy to do.
572651 tn?1530999357 I was very surprised and pleased when the new rx arrived in the mail - Provigil has now gone generic, and Modafinil (the generic name) was shipped instead of the name brand. The cost? A total of $20 for a 90 day supply. Maybe now that it is available in generic form all of our insurance companies will be less difficult to work with and get approved. We can only hope........
Avatar n tn I take the toprol xl and I use the generic and it cost me roughly $20 and I take 125mg twice a day. but you must make sure it is the generic for toprol xl because there is metoprolol succinate which is the generic for toprol xl and metoprolol tartrate which is the generic for lopressor. They both work in two different ways so they can not be interchanged at the same dose. I asked this question before toprol xl became a generic.
Avatar m tn I, myself, have Medicare along with the part D, receive the extra help program and pay $2.50 for generic prescriptions and $6.30 for brand name ones. I wish I had more helpful information for you, but please do check into both the Medicare and social services.
Avatar n tn We always use the same pharmcy, on the 19th of Dec we picked up what was supposed to be risperdal that said it was the same just a generic. It ended up beening Ropinirole.Ropinirole Oral is used to treat the following: Parkinson's Disease, Extreme Discomfort in Calves when Sitting or Lying Down. My 7 year old took about 9mg over a 4 day period before I figured out it was the new med that is making him totally different.
Avatar m tn I have search online for generic entecavir and i found a good news that Cipla, an india company has produced a generic for entecavir. However, i have search through the online pharmacy which provide generic entecavir, none of their shipping company covers south east asia, which is very disappointing. Avatar n tn Hi Grace, I just wanted to point out that a lot of us here in the US are uninsured and don't have a "provider". therefore it's the cost and means of getting the prescription itself that is the big hurdle to getting the Acyclovir treatment. Do you know of any other ways an uninsured person can get a doctor to write a prescription without having to pay $300 for an out of pocket office visit?
Avatar f tn Im suppose to be staring clomid and my doctor said it would cost me up to 1600 is this information correct because i thougth that the medication was cheap could somebody give me feed back on how much?
168348 tn?1379357075 Generics are just a name change only, from high cost brands name medicines to low cost brand name medicines. Just like all other products sold here in the US: Toilet paper, clothing, clothes soaps, and foods, etc., etc., etc. I buy a lot of generic products, which are made by brand name companies, with the same ingredients. Its the advertising of the "Brand Name" products that is where the high cost comes from.
Avatar f tn If a person has an issue with the cost of the medication it would make sense for them to ask their psychiatrist for the generic form as its basically the same medication but not being the brand form would be far less expensive (the generic would be called olanzapine).
486038 tn?1300063367 i went to do my refill and they told me that i cant get the brand name no more since the generic name is out so the insurance wont cover the cost and my portion will be 270$ so , i am on the generic now for 3 days but i noticed few things , bloated belly , i am more sleepy and today i had a migraine attack which i didnt have while i was on topamax ..so i am dissapointed ..
Avatar n tn There are many very good generic antidepressants. Call your doctor immediately, explain why you had to stop and ask for one to be prescribed for you. He knows you're not to stop this medication cold turkey, and doctors have become very understanding with today's economy that a lot of us cannot afford the brand names. I take a generic and it's works great! A month's worth will cost between $8 and $10. Take care.
7991152 tn?1396061810 Two days ago, I pick up my prescription get home and it is generic. I am almost positive it said, Levothryroxine, which 90 days cost $38.00. Well, today I go back and tell them I need my "Synthroid" and please don't change to generic. Ok, no problem they said, and charged me $106.00 for 90 days. When I get home its in a NEW bottle, that says, "Synthroid (then underneath in small letters) Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets, USP". What is this?
