Avatar f tn While it is still possible, the chances of miscarriage decrease the farther you progress in a pregnancy. Unfortunately, things can go wrong at anytime. It's part of the risk we take when we get pregnant. Don't worry about those things though. The most likely outcome, is a baby. Just focus on that and enjoy it!
Avatar n tn Miscarriages are more common than people think. As a matter of fact, about 25 percent of women who become pregnant have a miscarriage at some point in their life. It can even happen early enough that the woman never knows she was pregnant. Between 15 and 20 percent of all diagnosed pregnancies end in a miscarriage in the first or early second trimester. Chance chromosomal errors that occur while the embryo is first developing are the chief causes of most first trimester miscarriages.

Avatar f tn Since finding out I was pregnant I stopped running because the first time with my daughter, the first 12 weeks were rough and I was on bed rest for awhile, due to a threatened miscarriage. So I was little afraid of a repeat but now I'm 14 weeks and I want to be able to run again, even if it's a mile. Do you ladies think it's a good idea? I was over weight when I met my husband and lost almost 75 lbs before my daughter.
