Common Questions and Answers about Right breast and shoulder pain

breast

with my shouder they tok x-rays and to me it was pulled muscle. i don,tknoe\w could it be carpel tunnel in both arm <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> shoulders <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> behind my breast bone be acid reflux because i have that plus a henia hernia.
Since finding the lump, I've been suffering from some intermittent sharp <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> area. It started off dull <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> not very frequent. Now it's more frequent although I don't know that I can classify it as "severe". The painful areas hurt to touch. I have tender, painful areas in my right shoulder and a few spots on my left side too. I'm worried about bone cancer/bone mets... or even lung mets.
Then the pain would go to my armpit and then the other armpit would hurt - my ear, jaw <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> would hurt too - the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> comes <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> goes like a muscle <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span>. I checked my blood pressure it is fine and I do have high blood pressure. I have scheduled a doctors appointment and I have yearly physicals and I also do breast check every month. So until my appointment I have become very nervous thinking it is breast cancer or something - scared to death!
I have checked for lumps and found nothing abnormal, however, the pain is always there and it is now developing into a 'crunching' pain, which is made worse when i move quickly, lift up my arm, turn my body or even my head, i've tried rotating my arm from the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> joint but it doesn't alleviate the constant ache <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> often just sends a shrp jolt of <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> into the breast.
Hi again, Since the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in your arm <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> still persists <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> it's not related to a breast problem,I think that the best thing to do is to see a Neurologist or a pain management Clinic, as I mentioned in my previous comment. Certainly worrying about it without finding a solution, is not something anyone wants to live with. If your pain is muscular or nerve related, and if you are using your arm doing a repetitive work, the pain could take even longer before it subsides.
Since yesterday I have been encountering the most horrible sharp <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> blade. My baby was delivered by C-Section and i wondered if the pain is related to the C-section? Or of course, could it be the manner in which I am breasfeeding? Motrin does not seem to cure the pain and nor does the percocet (sp?) that I was taking for my surgery....how can I stretch or relieve this pain...it is terrible.
I have been feeling disconfort in my left side neck, <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span>,arm <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> it takes my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> goes all the way down to my fingers. Sometimes the disconfort in my breast worries me but then I realized it is not just my breast, the disconfort takes all my left side. I feel my arms as it was really heavy. What could it be? Could you please help me?
then around the 3rd trimester it came back much stronger <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> including <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> at the neck, back <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> sholder..now <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> i have this <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> all over my left side from head to toe(head, behind ear, neck, shoulder, arm, joints, knees, chest, abdomen, back) i had an ultra sound but the doctor told me i have normal breast tissue and no lumps even under the arm..could this be an advanced breast cancer? iam so concerned that it could be spreaded to lymph nodes, brain and bone..

I was having sharp pains in my chest <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> under my arm. I finally went to my PCP <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> he found a knot in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> bone. I had Costochondritis. It is something that can last for 4 months my doctor said. Ibprofen for swelling or Tylenol for pain and a heating pad or hot baths really helped me. This was back in Sept. I haven't had major pain since December. Every now and then I get a flare up but nothing like I was having. Try a heating pad or try a nice hot bath. Good luck!

I have had the pain for 5 months now, and is unberable, I cannot sleep well and I'm so tired all the time. Now I'm having the same type of <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> left leg, so now I have <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in both my shoulders and both my legs!!!! From what I have been reading most people get bursitis in one area of the body, since I have it in 4 parts of my body I'm really concerned. Please anybody give an answer. The pain is terrible. Thank you.
Tenderness is very common, <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> even more so during pregnancy. It's very often not symmetrical. breast cancer, much more often than not, is painless. It's good to have any new persisting symptom checked out, but generally the worry is very low in your case.
But i've been having some severe <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span>, on the underside. When it bounces, the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> radiates into the nipple. I also notice a white ring around the areola, like on the skin, not touching the nipple in any way. I was doing heavy lifting last night, and i did pull a muscle in my right shoulder. i was wondering if the pain could be coming from that, or if localized breast pain and weird white rings could be a sign of pregnancy so early on.
The pain you are experiencing could be caused by many things, like for instance, a pulled muscle,or hormonal fluctuation,or maybe the presence of a cyst or fibroadenoma (both benign lumps). As you can see there are many conditions causing <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span>,<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> it's really hard to tell you what the problem could be over the internet.
they cause <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> on the left, which is the side that I have <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> on. Its also been 2 weeks since my period, but wouldn't that cause pain in both breasts not just one? I have 6 children , so of course I have fear about the pain being from something worse. I have no lumps, & no apparent swelling, but I am seing my DR. on wed. Meanwhile, I have a few days here to be paranoid, which I am. Thanks for any feedback!
I have <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> armpit which has spread across into the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> a little <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> and arm. It just started when i was sitting chatting to my mother so i know its not a strain. I had a total hystorctomy when i was 32 (9 years ago) I did take HRT but i stopped it of my own accord. I have had the pain for three days now (it wakes me up at night too) I take some painkillers for this but it does not take the pain away completly.
Hi, Im 27 <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> Im experiencing pains in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span>, I cant really tell which specific part but I think it's on the side near my armpit, and sometimes I also feel pain in my nipple, I was thinking that the pain in my neck and shoulder is the cause, what should I do? do I need to go to the doctor?
I do have a gallstone and have experienced the lower <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> side <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> nausea plus the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>shoulder</span> blade <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> but this <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'><span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>right</span></span> upper side <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> is new to me. I have been terrified of pulmonary embolism or something but I think it must be either gallbladder related or stress related. The only other thing I can think of is that I started a new fitness regime and overdid it a bit for the first time. I ended up a few days later with a terrible lower backache which lasted about a week.
Thanks for posting a reply, I'm trying hard to stick away from fatty foods that might be causing me problems, Being relativley young when i first happened to start having these symptoms i would freak out thinking the worst possible sceniero such as a heart problem or liver or lung problems and I always feared i would end up dead by this, but latley i've been starting to think more logically becasue of a negative blood test and other such things, but even as i sit here and type this, I'm having p
The reason for breast pain is not clearly understood, and is not usually associated with breast cancer. <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span> is sometimes associated with hormonal variations <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>and</span> is then called cyclical <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pa<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>in</span></span>. Noncyclical breast pain does not seem to be linked to hormonal variations and is often localized to one area of the breast tissue. Noncyclical breast pain may or may not be the result of an injury to the breast. Discuss your symptoms with your physician.
