Normally I take my Ribavirin at 6:30am (along with my VIC) and 6:30 pm. I fell asleep before my 10:30pm VIC dose and woke up to my alarm. I was in such a deep sleep I wasn't fully awake and when I took my VIC, I also took my daily meds of ribavirin as well as my ADs. So here I am at 6:30 am wondering if I should take today's morning dose of RIba with the VIC or wait til my 6:30pm schedule. That would be a 20 hour lapse between doses! Yikes!

Hi I am curious if anyone has found a chart or info on how much interferon, ribavirin and telaprevir a person should take based on their weight. Maybe some of these are not even weight based altho it sure seems like a 100# person would not require as much of any of these as a 300# person but I don't know. Thanks for the responses. Willy, those stats on double dosing are encouraging and follow on others I've read. It's the reason I'm pumped to give it my all, but I still don't see alot of the higher Riba dosages which gives me pause. My Dr. said the worst sx they've dealt with from the amped Riba is the rash...and the ONLY time they have dropped a dose for a week...otherwise it's pretty much NO reductions. Can-do-man: yes, I will have weekly bloodwork for monitoring.

High Ribavirin? I am thinking about trying tx in a clinical trial with high riba. (about two times normal). It seems like a lot of people here who did clear with SOC had more side effects than those who did not clear. I had few side effects but also did not clear.
