I have been on the Norvir, Reyataz, Truvada combo for over a year with no side effects.

Im 27 weeks. I noticed yesterday the whites of my eyes looked yellow. I thought it might just be me imagining it but when I mentioned it to my boss she said she had also noticed this earlier on in the day that they did. Is this a normal pregnancy problem as I don't remember having it with my first?

I agree w/bigsissie it is not normal to have yellow eyes. You should have your liver tested.

Everyone I’ve spoken to says that the eye is white. Just white. But can they be a slight tint of yellow under the eyelids? My eyes has a faint yellow ring around them, I do have elevated liver enzymes that doctors have just ignored so I haven’t taken them seriously but now I’m about to push them to at least double check and I’m not sure if this is even a thing.

If there is a hepatologist within driving distance, that would be your best bet, if not, go to a gastrointerologist. Yellow eyes need to be checked out because they mean you have excess bilirubin in your blood. What color is your urine and stools?

I have weird side effects: headaches, queasy stomach, and fatigue/weakness. I told my doctor, and he said, to "tough it out for another week, and he'll see if he needs to change the combination, or switch meds.

I just noticed that my 27 yr old paint gelding has yellow in the whites of his eyes. I'm not sure if I've ever noticed this be fore or there is something wrong or going wrong. been positive since 1988, maybe even earlier, didnt start on meds till 2007. Norvir, truvada and reyataz are my friends. My cd4 is 700 and viral load is undetectable. very fortunate to have meds at my disposal. I would advise folks who are positice,please take your meds.

What would cause the white of your eyes to turn yellow? Is this something I should see my doctor for? I have had several people ask me why my eyes are so yellow. About a year ago I noticed that when I pulled my eyelids up or down the outer edge of my scleraes have a yellow tinge. This yellow is quite faint and can't be seen in the exposed part of my eyes when I look directly at the mirror, but when I look up and pull my eyelid down I can see some yellow tinge. As I said I noticed this at least a year ago, possibly 2 and it has not seemed to change in anyway over this time. Should I assume this is just natural or do I need to see a doctor?

And I only found this out becuase I went to the ER and one reason I went the ER was because I was yellow. My eyes and skin were yellow. I was acute and cleared on my own. If you are acute they say those that go as far to show jaundice druing the acute phase have a better chance at clearing on their own.
