One word of caution there... we also have Reyataz in the mix here. This drug often causes side-effects which may never go away, while Truvada tends to have little to no side-effects. Of those you mentioned, jaundice, stomach pain, nausea and loss of appetite are fairly common side-effects of Reyataz.

I have been on it for a few years and the only side effect i had is loose stools. Oatmeal for breakfast daily helped with that. I also have elevated kidney function. Right now i am TTC so they took me off the Truvada because they said that pregnancy can really increase these symptoms so they changed it to epzicom.

I recently started the Norvir, Reyataz, Truvada combo. This is my first time taking "the meds" after being hiv + for 20 years. I have been on them for only 11 days. I have weird side effects: headaches, queasy stomach, and fatigue/weakness. I told my doctor, and he said, to "tough it out for another week, and he'll see if he needs to change the combination, or switch meds.

I started taking PEP on august 4th. I take truvada norvir and reyataz. I went to get a rapid antibody hiv test today and was negative. Should I still be worried and stressed? I haven't slept much since this happened.

hi all, i just have a question. does anyone know of a side effect that is a ringing in the ear? i have been having a strong ringing in my left ear. if i press my left finger to my ear it stops. im also getting dizzy and lighted headed really easy. any ideas or help is welcome. this is driving me crazy.

I'm wondering if any one has ever experienced the side effect of body twitches when they started taking medication? I don't mean small twitches, it feels like my muscle is jerking it's scary. I went into the hospital back in Feb of this year for some kidney infection that the doctors was confounded about how I got and my CD4 was 2something and viral load 500+ AFTER 5 YEARS UNDETECTABLE!. Kidneys got clear & I left....

been positive since 1988, maybe even earlier, didnt start on meds till 2007. Norvir, truvada and reyataz are my friends. My cd4 is 700 and viral load is undetectable. very fortunate to have meds at my disposal. I would advise folks who are positice,please take your meds.

4 I have a compromised immune system and am on truvada, norvir, and reyataz. I have been walking and watching my intakes... I do have a sweet tooth sometimes but otherwise I eat pretty healthy. any ideas?

okay thanks. I probably wont try Seroquel. Geodon is what I am taking and it has tremors listed as a side effect but I didn't get them.

t experienced anxiety with this insulin, nor have I heard that this is a side effect. However, I think you should talk to your diabetic team. It may be related to the insulin, in which case there are many other insulins out there your daughter can switch to. I do think too that her anxiety could simply stem from being a young teen with diabetes, and the stress of being 'different' from her friends. I know that personally for me this was an issue and a source of stress.

Has anyone experienced stuttering as a side effect of taking Abilify? If so did the stuttering resolve eventually or did you have to go off the medication? Did anyone ever seek speech therapy for stuttering related to Abilify, and if you did, was it helpful?

I have this pea size lump underneath my left nipple, ive had it for about a month now.. I think i might be growing another under my right, there is a lump there but it is smaller but has been getting bigger. Zoloft can definitely cause some initial start up side effects, like an increase in anxiety, and sleep disturbances. Could be side effects. Most initial side effects will start to abate by about week two. When do you take the Zoloft? In the morning, or at night? If you take it at bedtime, ask your doc if you can switch it up and take it in the am. That shouldn't be a problem, and it may help. Keep an eye on things, most certainly let your doctor know about it.

d tell you to ask your psychiatrist, but most of them are clueless about side effects. Maybe you have a good one. The nervousness is a definite side effect of starting an anti-depressant -- they can be stimulating.
