Avatar n tn I started taking PEP on august 4th. I take truvada norvir and reyataz. I went to get a rapid antibody hiv test today and was negative. Should I still be worried and stressed? I haven't slept much since this happened.
Avatar n tn I recently started the Norvir, Reyataz, Truvada combo. This is my first time taking "the meds" after being hiv + for 20 years. I have been on them for only 11 days. I have weird side effects: headaches, queasy stomach, and fatigue/weakness. I told my doctor, and he said, to "tough it out for another week, and he'll see if he needs to change the combination, or switch meds.
4529703 tn?1355961841 I was diagnosed with HIV in 2006, I was 26 years......I was at 129CD4 count.......When I started feeling sick I started treatment. I got all the way up to almost 500CD4 count....I was undetectable for 5 years until now docs were like wow! I went into the hospital back in Feb of this year for some kidney infection that the doctors was confounded about how I got and my CD4 was 2something and viral load 500+ AFTER 5 YEARS UNDETECTABLE!. Kidneys got clear & I left....

1831849 tn?1383228392 Laura, aka Lulu54 mentioned that there may be copay assistance programs available. I went to the Genentech website and found a wealth of information about assisatance for payments associated with many conditions. None of these were MS. I have a call in to them. but sustpecty that since Rituxan for MS is off label there is no program at Genentech. Does anyone know of any fiancial assistance programs for Rituxan?
572651 tn?1530999357 m finding that so many of these drugs have special offers on their websites to help cover the copay cost. Big Pharma definitely wants us using their pills.... If you have a name brand drug you are using, be sure to look at their websites to see what special offers might be going on. I just started Restasis last week and they have all sorts of incentives/rebates to use their eyedrops.

1057395 tn?1254367428 I looked on the blue cross blue shield web site and found I could have them sent to me through their preferred pharmacy for a $69 copay for pegasys and no copay for ribaviron. Hope my experience saves you a lot of money!! There's a number to call to get the fax number to give your doctor to send in the prescriptions. Welcome and good luck!

Avatar n tn I have been on the Lidocain patch for a few years and at my last PM visit he suggested the Lidocain cream 1%. My copay on the patch was $50 month and my copay on the cream $5 so I am using the cream which actually works better as I can apply the cream to my low back myself where the patch not so easy.
1391695 tn?1298139789 Some insurance policies cover the riba under their Rx plan but put the IFN into major medical, sometimes requiring 30% copay. That happened to me, and while I paid the first time out of pocket, the second treatment I went through the mfgr’s patient assistance program; they paid for 100% of both meds, with no copay or deductible to meet. Also, these drugs often require prior authorization; sometimes that can take a week or more to arrange.
200956 tn?1425591539 I will not receive 1st month until Jan after copay help goes through. Rbeth did you have a super high copay from Optum? Yes the spec pharmacy was supposed to request assistance but never did, after weeks of waiting my Docs office complained and got immediate results. Upset1234 as far as I know CVS still covers Harvoni.
Avatar f tn I have Kaiser insurance and was wondering howmuch the copay was for labor for those who have kaiser as well.
Avatar n tn I use Adderall for fatigue and it helped me better than provigil did. Better yet it is generic and so my copay is only $10.00. Much better than 25, or 50 that I have to pay for other meds. Maybe switching to a generic will help. Can't hurt to ask. Hope it helps!
Avatar f tn I've had history of PE's. I'm also on Lovenox shots and my doctor has me taking a baby asprin once a day too. I started shots around week 12. I have Kaiser health coverage and my copay for my shots are $30. I just hit the 20 week mark today and so far everything is going well. Good luck and congratulations!
393432 tn?1212209678 That's a tough situation. Depending on your financial situation, you may want to look into Bristol-Myers Squibb Company to see if they have a patients assistant program. Changing insurance is a possible consideration. Baraclude comes in 0.5mg and 1mg. If you have to go with Baraclude, check the cost for the 1mg compare with the 0.5mg. If they cost you about the same out of pocket, go with the 1mg, cut it in half and you get twice the dosage.
Avatar f tn Gilead pays (per coupon) pays all but $5,00 of the Sovaldi per month and Ribasphere coupon pays all but $25.00/month. I pay $30/month copay for both. The good news (which insurers hate) is that the co-pay amounts should go toward your insurance deductable/out-of-pocket costs. Joanne.
Avatar f tn I was reading the question that were posted about copaxone and I am currently on my husband insurance and my copay is $40.00 a month but they pay $5.00 and I only pay $35.00 a month. Well my situation is changing and I really need to find a way to pay for this medicine. I check with my insurance on my job and it will not cover this medicine. I need help. I read this other lady post and she said they told her she didnt qualify, that is what I am afraid of.
