I was off of meds for over four year ...a drug holiday because of the previous meds which made me sick but now I'm on the 3 medications ( reyataz, truvada and norvor). Its been a over three years and so far so good with a healthy diet and exercise and no visible side effects. My cd4's are up and viral load is undetectable. Not sure if it makes a difference at what time of day you take yours meds but I take mine after breakfast.

I started taking PEP on august 4th. I take truvada norvir and reyataz. I went to get a rapid antibody hiv test today and was negative. Should I still be worried and stressed? I haven't slept much since this happened.

been positive since 1988, maybe even earlier, didnt start on meds till 2007. Norvir, truvada and reyataz are my friends. My cd4 is 700 and viral load is undetectable. very fortunate to have meds at my disposal. I would advise folks who are positice,please take your meds.

Well, I know you were on the PPI but have you tried something more simple like Tagamet or Pepcid? I can't take PPI as it GIVES me gastric pains but the others control my heartburn when I've had it chronically. Try it and see. But it does sound like you will need to see your doctor. Upper stomach pain can also be gall bladder related. For heartburn, acid reflux and gall bladder issues, sometimes certain things can reduce them. What we eat and when.

I woke up unexpectedly this morning with my throat on fire, as well as my lungs when when I breathed in. I ran went to the bathroom and started spiting a lot. It felt like snot and saliva. I thought if I was on one PPI and then changed to another there should be less time for the new PPI to be effective.

What drug is the PPI 668? Is it a nucleotide like the 7977 and 938? Do you mind me asking what your genotype is? And, have you treated before?

I was diagnosed with H pylori last Monday, been taking the antibiotics and ppi. felt like I was feeling better till I started to have severe constipation. both antibiotics say may cause diarrhea so why am I so constipated.
