Avatar n tn I also have similar features as my mother, and she has very few wrinkles, but prominent wrinkles between her eyebrows. I try to wear sunglasses and not squint, but is there any specific product I could apply to help prevent wrinkles developing there? Thank you!
Avatar m tn Hi, Kinetin is a cytokinen which is useful in cell division. It is used in many cosmetics for anti aging. Please discuss the same with your dermatologist before going in for any cosmetics. i hope it helps. regards.
Avatar n tn If it is successful, you will be pleased with the result. If it does not work, the Restylane will disappear in three to four months.
Avatar f tn Hello. I have been told by a dermatologist that I have acne and keratoses pilaris. The keratoses pilaris started on my upper shoulders a few moths ago but seems to have spread to my face as well. Since I've been to the dermatologist, I've now noticed that my forehead skin feels stiff and tight. When I pinch the skin, it feels hard. I'm getting lines/wrinkles between my eyebrows and can feel the stiffness when a raise my eyebrows. What could be causing this?
1932338 tn?1349220398 2) The Restyline filler injections would be around my lips for the wrinkles. Can they accidently inject into the vessel in that region where there would be a risk of it travelling to the retina? How would I know what to watch for when they inject so that I know if they are risking hitting a vessel? Thank you in advance, I think these answers will help others on this forum too.
Avatar f tn Is the sun and tanning bed also causing the wrinkles on my face between my eyebrows and from the bottm of my nose to my curve of my lips, I think that is called the smile lines. Although this maybe due to age also since I am 49. Is there also something for this over the counter?
Avatar m tn Thank you for loving my Care Bears....they get threatened sometimes! LMAO... I totally always wear my sunglasses so I don't get "squinting" wrinkles. My brother calls the raising eyebrows the "do whats?"!
Avatar n tn So I was outside minding my own business, and there was this bat that was flying around the neighborhood light near the basketball court where I usually walked around at night sometimes because of my insomnia, and I was wearing a jacket with a hoodie, and I had a hoodie on and as I was walking around the neighborhood light, I saw the bat from the top of my vision, but don't remember what exact trajectory it took or anything, nor do I know how close it got to me, but all was good until I felt
Avatar f tn ve been feeling irritation between my eyebrows. Its like when you close your eyes and hold a pointed pencil between your eyebrows. It is strain but it happens any time not only when i am concentrating and once it starts it doesn't end for hours doesn't even let me sleep. Its like i have to pinch there or hold that part for it to stop but as i remove my.
Avatar f tn s the thyroid glands are somehow identified as being foreign to the body and the autoimmune system produces antibodies to attack the thyroid glands until they are destroyed. Why this happens has not been scientifically determined. From personal observation, I think the incidence of injectable fillers or implants is far less than the incidence of Hashimoto's. LOL And of course there is the fact that men also have Hashi's, even though it is a much lower incidence.
Avatar f tn Same thing with me! I had botox for my migraines to where they give you the shots in the forehead, near the base of the neck along the earlobes, near my temples and top sides of my crown. My hair was shedding so much that I lost alot of volume like as if I was post pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Hello, I am 28 years old and recently I started developing wrinkles everywhere on my face (forehead, under eye, between eyebrows, nasolabial lines and more). Some days when I look at my face in the mirror I feel like a 50 year old. The texture of my facial skin looks horrible, my skin is very dry and my facial pores are pretty big. I also have puffiness and black circles under my eyes. My weight is normal, I eat healthy, exercise a lot and take a multivitamin and Complex B.
1068968 tn?1256169388 my 42 year old forehead is also oddly smooth.. you know how you raise your eyebrows and your forehead wrinkles? The top inch of my forehead stays smooth and the rest of it wrinkles!
717272 tn?1277590780 Thanks Jamie817! I actually started using the cold compresses too until I read something on an eye website that said to do the warm/hot. I've been doing the warm/hot for the past week or so and it has helped. I'm pretty sure mine is an allergy thing too and, in fact, I'm pretty sure it's an allergy to the treatment meds. I take Zyrtec and Zantac combo for it now (switched from benadryl) but it doesn't totally help. I appreciate your tip on this!
Avatar n tn Indents or furrows can also develop due to wrinkles. Also when the brows sag, this causes indents on the forehead. It is difficult to pinpoint the cause on net. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your PCP once. You may need to further consult an ENT specialist or a skin specialist or a cosmetologist. Take care!
Avatar f tn In college I lifted weight for 3 weeks and got a thick stretch mark on my arm. I said fine, I just don't have to lift weights. At 21 I got some fine stretch marks on my hip from working at a restaurant. Life will go on. At 24, I developed a double wrinkle around my neck, thinning of the skin over the clavicles, and rosacea (what a year!). I thought it was from the jock itch cream I was taking and I waited for the wrinkles to fill back in which they didni't. Then I forgot about it.
Avatar f tn It hurts between my eyebrows when objects get close to the space between my eyebrows, expecially when I wear glasses or put my finger too close, please help it's been like this my whole life and I can't deal with it anymore.
Avatar n tn I am 33 and have stange wrinkles on my forearm too! I am currently breastfeeding my 12 1/2 month old...Strange link between us all..would love some anwsers..
Avatar m tn My suggestion to you would be ask who ever has parental control over you to take you to a beauty salon and let them have a look as well (if you have found no medical reason for this) it maybe that the eyebrows are just very blonde towards the end and if so with parental consent you could have them tinted which costs about £10.00 and lasts anywhere between 3-6 wks. If not Clarins do a really good eyebrow pencil that has a brush on the end so you can blend the pencil in and make it look natural.
Avatar n tn This is because topical use may induce severe local erythema and peeling at the site of application. Check with your doctor for proper management with the wrinkles that is best for you. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn Judicious use of Restylane can be very effective for the crease lines you noted. I have used it effectively for so-called "tear trough" deformity beneath the lower lids. Bruising is always a possibility with any injection in this thin tissue.
394757 tn?1214225958 Normally, I try concentrating on something else, or pinching myself hard between the eyebrows to deviate from the uneasy feel. This thing may last for almost hours together. Please recommend what do I do about this.
601038 tn?1240252893 m wrong the disney clan, do some research its pathetic, thanks for the laugh
Avatar n tn more hair on limbs, less on the head, bushier eyebrows, my skin looks more aged and theres new creases/wrinkles around the joints especially wrist and elbow. i have way less energy and my waist has become rounder. im sure my metabolism has slowed down. but the worst part is that the brain fog sensation persists. its very minor and only noticeable when im focusing on it but it's there. also, i get a discomforting sensation daily that isn't long or strong enough to call headache.
Avatar m tn My eyebrows for about the past month have been very itchy, not much flaking just a little from scratching constantly. The itch seems to be more intense when I sweat or become hot. I have been using Nizoral 2% but it doesnt seem to help too much. I am currently in law school and begining finals, could this be part of the problem? Also, when I was my eyebrows I lose between 2-3 per eyebrow. Is this a normal amount? Do we shed eyebrows daily?
Avatar m tn Hello, Recently, I have started to have a cluster of small dots that are the same color as my skin between my eyebrows. At first, they were not very visible until I stretched the skin but the cluster seems so large now. Two of them has actually turned into a red pimple (not sure if its really related, but I RARELY have acne and these have grown in the cluster spot in a shot interval) and some of them seem to have a small white head that can be scratched off.
Avatar f tn Aside from needing some explanation for the wrinkles, I have been doing very poorly with the pigmentation aspect of the scar. I discovered that sunblock does not protect 100%. Therefore I have been coping by living a very restricted life, wearing a vision obstructing hat (the only one that would shade the lower part of my face), and putting sun block on every two hours. I have not always had the chance to put sun block on,on time. I can't drive because of the sun coming through the window.
Avatar f tn My face is getting black spots on the cheeks , pratically covers the whole cheek, also spreading to my eyebrows and under my nose. What product is good for removing the spotsI have to wear make up to cover the spots. This discussion is related to discoloration of facial skin.
