ve never felt pain like it full body spasms again all over in my jaw even my eys, just like how it started back in May 2007 ( although i'd been ill since jan 2007 after the car accident in nov 2006 which seems to of set it off from there. anyway not sure any of that made sense my brain is all mush today. But it sure is great to talk to you, i sent you private mail a while ago but not sure you got it. I hope you are well, and you are doing a fantastic job on here still.

He determined this to be rare side effects from Requip. Took me off straightaway. I hated that because it worked so well, but side effects were intolerable. This as of April 28th. Was started on Sinemet. Was told this does not work as well as Requip, but was less likely to have same side effects. Said he could add darvocet if necesary.Also take ativan 1mg 3 x daily since the brain surgery, and 1-2 at night for help with sleep. Every other sleep aid made above symptoms worse.

Dear Kat, I do know that taking Requip itself can cause hallucinations. But he's been taken off it. Now, stopping Requip can cause confusion. So, I don't know what to make of it. I do recall when I had pneumonia, I was out of my mind, and I have never taken Requip. I suppose it's possible he's having a combination of fever hallucinations, left-over Requip hallucinations, and withdrawal confusion. Any way you look at it, he's having a very hard time.

I am on Requip for Restless Leg Syndrome, which I learned alot of Fibro sufferers have, and I love it! It also helps tremendously with my terrible foot pain I have in the day. I can't do without it! This is one of the few meds I haven't had any adverse effects from either. Hope that helps!

Have had following symptoms,increasing frequency since 11/05. Background:50F.5/05 Resection meningioma right parietal. 09/05 diagnosed Hashimotos Hypothyroid. Synthroid.137 TSH 1.87 FT4 1.40.10/07 neuro diagnosed RLS. Besides known rls symptoms had/have morning symptoms. Awakened early AM startled, stressed,wired/ tired,sense of dread,shaky,jumping out of skin,adrenaline rush. Difficult to describe, determined not panic attacks. Somewhat relieved getting up to move around.

Congrats on your clean time and I hope the RLS goes away but I would also try Requip!

Never worked for me but, it does for some so definitely worth a try.

I am starting the slimfast program tomorrow. My question is does it really work? I am also in a wheel chair..But i do get my legs walking 1 or 2 hours a day .

Keep us posted to see how you're doing! If it works I'll try it when I'm close to my due date or over due..does it taste gross? Or does it just end up giving you a ton of gas??

I did it and it was right about me having a girl amd my hair dresser did it and it was right for her having a boy...

Have been taking Lexapro 20 mg for about a year and very much improved. Unable to acieve orgasm even with erection. How long does thia side effect last after weaning off Lexapro with doctor's approval???

Make sure you eat something with it though or it will make you puke. I didn't eat with it and puked about 3 times and I maybe allergic to it cause it broke my neck and face out in a really bad rash!

before I knew I had restless legs I lived in a bath of warm and I have tried hylands and it does work for a while.I am still having trouble.I have an appointment with a neurologist;I have had a lot of stress and stress is not good for restless legs. wish me luck.

Hardest part of my previous detoxing was getting pass the RLS. Even with the Requip, it was rough that first night. Instead of my legs shaking...it was my arms. I would have passed as a really good "air" boxer. The submoxone helped alot. It curb alot of the craving, but I only had three 8mgs. I'm out of those right now and the w/d's coming back. It look like it's going to be a rough night. Good luck to all that are still fighting the good fight.

I can not connect any food to it or pattern. Does this sound like a Gastroenterology or Cardiologist issue? I take zoloft for depression & clonopin for anxiety (heart flutters) & requip at night for resless leg syndrome.

i am not a nurse..but I do know that you can take Requip with pain meds.I took it and my husband currently takes it..He also takes plenty of Norco and Percs..The Requip works very well for him..he suffers from RLS pretty bad ..He has no side effects from it and takes it at bedtime..@10 pm..and he gets up for work @5am..he doesn't feel groggy or anything...you should give it a try..especially when you are in w/d.. If your taking anything else..

Do not take another one. If you threw it up, then you threw it up. It safer to just take a day off from prenatals rather than taking another one and possibly having to go to the hospital for to many minerals and vitamins .
