But now i m got same rib pain in right side this time ultrasound report is no hepatic abscess at present .. renal cortical cyst in left kidney ,But according to this disease pain is come from back side also and feel some urinal problem . but i having only right side rib pain ,even doctor says if u have renal cortical cyst it not problem at all u dont worry about that. This is time i dont know why paining in my rib ,I am confusing somebody says it is some kind of ulcer .
Usually an ultrasound may be able to define on whether the cysts are simple or not.The ultrasound results may influence the next step for management.You may discuss this with your daughter's physicians.

s where it all started. The abscess I got on the first spot on my breast lasted for 9 months (I had maybe 4 recurrence) but it healed on its own without taking any antibiotics or creams. After a few weeks, I noticed that I have a growing abscess 1 inch away from the old spot and I have somehow a similar "abscess" forming 5 inches above my vagina (near where the pubic hairs are).
Over the last 13 months I have been admitted into the Hospital on multiple occasions, suffering from Pyelonephritis. A renal ultrasound shows a slightly enlargening benign cyst in the right kidney, my only kidney, left kidney removed due to cancer in 1981.
What is the cause of such a cyst ? Treatments? How fast will it grow ?

said too much calcification was on the ultrasound to see good enough. Now he wants another MRI on the kidney. Does this mean I have calcification of the kidney? Or does it just mean the ultrasound was too cloudy to see anything good so he wants the MRI just on the kidney to see it better? Thanks for answering.
Can't speak to what it means, per se, but an MRI is for sure a better tool for looking at renal cysts. CT's are great for hard stuff, but the MRI's are much better for the soft stuff.
However, his doctor MIGHT have recommended the CT as opposed to the MRI due to the nature of the cysts (complex). Complex cysts sometimes have calcifications (more often than not), and due to the 'hard' nature of the calcifications, maybe the CT was ordered?
The healing and recovery time differs from person to person, and of course it would also depend on how extensive the surgery will be,depending on how deep the abscess is located..
I am really sorry if I can't be of much help,but I would advise you to ask your surgeon all the questions you have asked here, and I am sure that you'll be much better informed regarding drainage,healing,and especially when you can go back to work since your job is physically demanding.
well, after he arrived the doctor took him off all 8 antibiotics the previous hosp put him on and said there was no need for so many antibiotics if they dont know what they are treating and placed him on only 3. the following day a specialist did an ultrasound and looked over the mri from the other hospital and were able to determine what the large black area on his liver was and why it was so inflamed.
No I only found out about this because I had an abscess and had a cyst scan done then they saw the nodule and then wanted to do the ultrasound. I can’t do the wait game I’d rather know if it is or isn’t cancerous!!!

6 C is very lethargic. Seems to be trembling and will not even look at me when I walk in. A massive cyst has developed on his neck. It is draining but the color is brown and stinks link excrement.

Where the babies kidneys are dilated from urine backing up into them. Dr says it's common, they're just keeping a close eye on it not to worry. Ultrasound shows plenty of fluid around him so they know everything is functioning properly. How do I not freak out being a first timer???
Hi all! I had a quick question. I have a mass on my left ovary and 4 cyst on my right. Both have solid components. Those results were from my vaginal ultrasound. My ct scan says that a retroaortic left renal vein can be seen. What in the world is that? I don't go for my 2nd vaginal ultrasound until Thursday. I would appreciate any feedback. I am stumped!
I researched online and was 100% sure I had a kidney infection. I was tight on money so I got Cipro from a friend. On day five of the antibiotic I still felt ill. I went to the ER for same day tests. They said my urine was "contaminated" since I was already on antibiotics. They said to keep taking it and maybe slept wrong. I took it for seven days. I started feeling better and went on a hike, it was hard on my body and I was exhausted.
My doctor then tried diabetic pill. After I developed a renal abscess and blood infection we found out that the pill actually increased my blood sugar instead of decreasing it. My HB1AC came back while I was in the hospital and it went from 7 with no medication to 12 with the medication.
The kidney specialist told me I had the "reverse effect" and this is what caused renal abscess and not to take medicine.
hi my kidney function went from a 60 to a 53 i have abdominal pain sever sometimes and i can feel it in the back and i can feel pain where my kidney is to the point im doubled over. i am waiting on test results from a renal vascular ultrasound i had on the 27th November.
On Aug. 31st my dog was diagnosed with Kidney Failure. Her creatinine was at a 8. As of almost 2 weeks ago it went down to a 2. I have been giving her 6 cc's of fluid subcutaneously. As also Aluminum Hydroxide Gel, USP 5 mL after she eats. Along with PancrePlus as she basically has chronic pancreatitis since 2011 and I can only feed her either boiled chicken & rice or science diet I/D or she starts to tremble in pain.
