Avatar m tn I went to a surgeon in Ogden, ut He said that the nodule was deep and I never would have felt it. He said it was bumpy and lumpy. LOL He said it was most likely Follicular Adenoma, but I had atypical cells with crowding and grooves. I am afraid it is cancer. I am set to go into surgery and learned about the Da Vinci Robotic surgery where the surgeon goes underneath your armpit and there is no neck scars, recovery time is minimal and besides an ice pack the next day it seems pretty easy.

Avatar f tn I went to a renaissance fair 2 weeks ago and was bitten by something. I developed 2 bumps on my arm that were very itchy. I thought it was maybe a sand fly because I recently killed 2 bugs in my home that looked like a sand fly. I have developed more sports since then, mainly on my arms. They are not really healing. They do not itch but they look very unattractive. Also since then I have had itchy skin all over (not on the bumps on my arms. Mostly around the face.

Avatar f tn Im 14 weeks and work at a busy doctors office with 4 doctors. I'm a MA and realized my job is STRESSING me out. My office is just ridiculous. Everyday it's something else. I have absolutely no stress until I get to work. Half the time I'm tempted to quit but don't want to leave the burden on my fiancee to be the only sorce of income. This place makes me cry because I'm just so frustrated.

910419 tn?1289483727 ve continued to slouch. Then a week ago I was at the Renaissance Festival, and bought an authentic overbust corset for fun. I did terrificly for the rest of the day, which pleased me. A couple days later, I laced up my corset again to take some pictures of it to share with my friends, and the oddest thing happened: my migraine decreased in intensity. Weird, no? I took the pictures, and then took off the corset, and my pain went back up. Wha? So I put it on again and my pain went down again.

Avatar m tn We put a hot spot collar on our yellow lab to prevent him from licking his back left paw. We used this type of collar instead of the Renaissance collar usually provided by veterinarians. When we removed it this evening, our dog is limping on his right front leg. We can move the leg, feel his paws, and does walk on it, but will favor or lift the leg when walking or resting. What could be wrong?
Avatar m tn Have you had a stress test, or a stress echocardiogram? Those tests would allow the doctor to see your heart while it is working. Are you taking asthma medication? I'm pretty sure I read where some of our members have PVCs because of their asthma medications.
739091 tn?1300666027 For all of my friends who are under stress right now either from current cancer treatments or because they are worried for a loved one or they are in "wait mode" for test results. This little quiz will make you smile! http://www.thesuperheroquiz.com/ Enjoy and don't forget to relax and smile!
Avatar m tn These tests look at completely different things, so yes. Its alot to break down but basically.. Stress tests look at electricity and wall motion. Ct angiograms look at blood flow. Contrast mri and nuclear medicine looks at perfusion (how well muscles soak up blood). So you can have a 48% reduction in blood flow, resulting in a 68% reduction in pumping action/wall motion and a 20% loss of perfusion all in 1, yes.
