so, my sister was at school today. The teacher was using a projector screen to show us something on the screen. so my sister was in front of the screen talking to the teacher and the bright colorful light went directly at her eyes . ( it was supposed to be on the screen but she was in front of it) her eyes were kind of irritated and uncomfortable , but is the projector light dangerous and will it damage her eyes and how would she know.

Went to the doctor on monday for my 18 week appointment and found out I'm having a girl. My husband got to see her moving her arms and legs, opening her mouth, and blinking. For some reason the doctor didn't show me the screen at all. It kinda upset me. hopefully they'll let me see when I have another ultrasound done. Whenever that is. We're naming her Kairi Elizabeth.
Background: I've been having major reading trouble for a year and a half now. The first opthamologist thought I had CIS and had me do pencil pushups for about 5 months. This didn't really help so he referred me to another opthamologist who told me I had latent hyperopia not CIS. She gave me Rx for +0.75 and this helped a little so I went back and she increased my Rx to +1.00.
A few people in my grade 6 class had this problem and it was ever since my class had bought a new projector to use. I was wondering if there is any cure besides glasses/ contacts/ surgery that could fix my eyes permanently?

I had a projector set up in a small room, i caught some of the projectors beam light in my eyes when I looked at the projector from the side, only a second or so, I then noticed that the beam was reflected in a mirror that was opposite the projector (although the projector was at a slight angle not directly pointed at the mirror)

I bought a Move/Video game projector for my soon to watch his DVD's on (he is almost 3 years old) but when I was watching it with him he kept trying to look in to the projector light to see where the picture is coming from. I didn't see any eye warning in the instructions, but was wondering if this could hurt his eyes? The projector runs off a 60 watt halogen bulb. I don't want to use it if it isn't safe. Any ideas?
i recently accidently produced wrinkles under my eyes from trying to rub soap out of my eyes in the shower, the soap , and i tried getting it out in the shower by rubbing my eyes because they were stinging and since soap on skin creates a lot of friction i discovered i got wrinkles the next day and the skin under my eyes its a bit more corse than usual. i must of stretched the fibres of my skin im only 20.
I did have an accident on Tuesday where my right eye got inches away from the full blast of an LCD projector beam. It started getting spotty and by Friday afternoon both eyes were cloudy. At 3am on Saturday I woke up to have my vision completely blurry after about 4 inches. I've been to two opthalmologists who have found nothing wrong. Tomorrow I'm having an MRI and another exam. Everyone says they've never heard anything like this. I just want my vision back.
m a student at a university and it was hard for me to see text on the projector screens or white boards sometimes. Also, it was really hard to read street and road signs while driving at night. Overall, I don't think my vision was really all that bad. I believe I was 20/30 and 20/25 or something like that. My opthamologist seemed like he was leaving it up to me to get a pair of glasses to wear in class or maybe even contacts.
ve noticed that if I am looking at a computer screen, or projector, or any type of light, when I look away, I can see an outline of the image.
I know that this is a normal phenomenon, however, I am wondering if any conditions present in a hypersensitivity of adjusting to light? It seems that any type of light leaves an imprint when I look away, or any type of contrasting image...not just really bright lights.
I decided recently to try contacts for the first time, because I was having trouble seeing stuff written on the board and on the powerpoint projector board in class. what do u think is better to use to remove access discharge a klenex or a washcloth cause i used a klenex on my right eye and it scratched my eye now i have a huge visible scratch right at my eye which looks awful i dont know what to do?? can u reciev wrinkles from rubbing your lower lash line with a washcloth i thought that was ok to do??
Is it just me or do we have floating ads, geez i was just getting use to coloring in the faces, then had a burst of orange that would appear on my screen and now ads that float across. Im not sure if these are for real or if im just having flasbacks. Would be nice if it came in different colors though.

s definitely worth it. I got a free 3d/4d session from my dr at 31 weeks. I cried. It was amazing to watch her on the screen. She kept yawning...so cute. I would have paid for it though. There's a lot of places that will do it for cheap.
Hi Doc,i am from india and i purposefully stood infront of a film projector in a movie hall.it was a very small movie hall and i was at the last row very close to the film projector.the projection straight in my eye and my friends challenged me to stay there for 5 mins.my left eye is getting watery and blinky and i can also sense increase in my floaters.kindly help.thanks.
