Avatar m tn you need rehabilitation in any brain surgey, come again and we will set an appointment. The next time she said:rehabilitation is done only when she cant move a leg or arm. I am aware of the neuropsyhiatry and the test and everything. I want to make sure she gets the right treatment and doesnt waste these 6 months. Thats why I am asking her so I can make the deference between truth and real. I am looking around until I find the doctor that gives me the correct questions.
Avatar f tn My OB had me schedule the nuchal translucency test and ultrasound with a perinatal specialist due to my age. I told my OB and the peri spec. that I would be declining the testing but the ultrasound was scheduled anyway. The US went great. The tech was so kind and really took a lot of time with us. Baby looked great and we were thrilled. She told us the doc would be in shortly to see us.

Where do situations like this leave us? This kid didn't learn anything from his first scrape with the law. Chances are, this won't be his last either. He'll do some time for this, but when he gets out his gang will give him "props" and he will have garnered more respect from his fellow gang members.

The sooner you see a rehab specialist the better. This condition will not improve with ice-paks or ibuprufin. The money spent on this specialist will be the best money you ever spent.

Avatar f tn I am not sure anyone here can answer your questions about the wheelchair....but a true Chiari specialist should be able to give you the info.The symptoms are very similar to MS...and each of us will experience it differently.... There is a Chiari specialist in CO...not sure if you can travel....but that might be your best option at this point.
Avatar n tn He now has scoliosis because of poor posture, massive headaches and ear aches, hallucinations, and other problems due to being depressed and given up. We really want to find a home where he can be among people with the same rehabilitation challenges. It would be ideal if the home offered psychologist and a physical therapist; however, even if the home had one or the other it would be better than his situation right now. He just sits at home doing nothing.

After lunch, I suddenly felt severe pain in the ball of my foot and by that night it was hurting so badly I could barely wear my shoe. Avatar f tn I did see a doctor (not a surgeon or specialist) and they told me that the little finger is not an important finger on your hand and a surgeon wouldn't be interested in treating me. I have noticed for the past few months that both fingers but especially my little finger is becoming painful. My little finger stays in a curled position although I wouldn't say it feels really stiff. Could this be some type of tendon problem?

The medications such as Lyrica would also be helpful, as well as other drugs such as Gabapentin (but make sure you ask your doctor about this). Some people would go for alternative eastern treatment such as accupuncture or accupressure and this has offered relief, or decreased in medication requirements for some people.

When that bout was over, he was sent to a Rehabilitation Hospital, he was over fed his first meal, and to my understanding, not the appropriate foods to begin with, and that night, he was rushed back to ER as he struggled to breathe, and found the food had aspirated in his lungs while he was asleep.
