I am a research scientist in a rare disease laboratory. I work 40 hours per week and will be able to take 12 paid weeks off after having baby. When I head back to work my husband will watch our newborn and 15 month old during the day and I'll take nighttime when he works.
Would he have learned anything in prison, something like rehabilitation? Probably not, but at least he would have been incarcerated and not able to be involved with this.
Where do situations like this leave us? This kid didn't learn anything from his first scrape with the law. Chances are, this won't be his last either. He'll do some time for this, but when he gets out his gang will give him "props" and he will have garnered more respect from his fellow gang members.
Hi there. Muscle wasting could be due to disuse atrophy like sedentary jobs, medical conditions limiting their movement or decreased activity levels can lose muscle tone and develop atrophy. Other type is neurogenic atrophy, which occurs when there is an injury to or disease of a nerve connecting to the muscle like in polio, guillain barre syndrome or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
He is still very aware and conscious. Is there hope or rehabilitation for pons stroke patient and what advise can you give the family. He is being considered for home care facility.

He now has scoliosis because of poor posture, massive headaches and ear aches, hallucinations, and other problems due to being depressed and given up. We really want to find a home where he can be among people with the same rehabilitation challenges. It would be ideal if the home offered psychologist and a physical therapist; however, even if the home had one or the other it would be better than his situation right now. He just sits at home doing nothing.
All of these are issues but not sure what are the biggest concerns when it comes to getting the additional days in rehabilitation approved.
m not in denial and having had side jobs in the addiction rehabilitation field I know what addiction is. The doctor has simply concluded that my problems are due to alcohol use,when viral hepatitis and HIV was ruled out.
And no, I do not want someone to tell me how much longer I can drink. I've already stopped.
He went through 3 weeks at a Rehabilitation Hospital where his progress was slow. He regained his swallowing, but not much more improvement.He was transferred to a skilled nursing rehab and is not making much progress.We are told there is a time window for improvement. He still requires full assist. Does anyone know of a wonderful rehabilitation facility that actually could give him the care he needs to gain some function. His mind is sharp, but his body can't do anything.
Your best bet would be very tight control of blood sugars, perhaps combined with cardiac rehabilitation under medical supervision.
I had a menisectomy in June. Since then I've not been able to reach full extension and have suffered from a small patellar tendon tear that my dr. is telling me should heal itself. My pt has told me he thinks my lack of estension which is about 15 degrees is due to my tight hamstrings and soft tissue problems(tendonitis), but my dr. wants to try a manipulation then cast me to get my extension back. I've been doing some research on the M.U.A.
