Hi all!! I am looking into going to a outpatient rehabilitation center. I was wondering if anyone here has ever gone, what all it included, if you liked it, and the price. Just wanted some input from people who have gone so I will know what to expect.

If he has sustained mild or moderate diffuse axonal injury, the rehabilitation phase will follow once he is stabilized and awake. Multidisciplinary approach of therapy including doctors,’ nurses, physical and occupational therapists, adaptive equipment training and counseling would be involved if he is conscious.

Would he have learned anything in prison, something like rehabilitation? Probably not, but at least he would have been incarcerated and not able to be involved with this. Where do situations like this leave us? This kid didn't learn anything from his first scrape with the law. Chances are, this won't be his last either. He'll do some time for this, but when he gets out his gang will give him "props" and he will have garnered more respect from his fellow gang members.

Hi there. Muscle wasting could be due to disuse atrophy like sedentary jobs, medical conditions limiting their movement or decreased activity levels can lose muscle tone and develop atrophy. Other type is neurogenic atrophy, which occurs when there is an injury to or disease of a nerve connecting to the muscle like in polio, guillain barre syndrome or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

I chose meetings vs counseling due to cost....but counseling is great when u really need one on one help...I have been seeing a counselor as of late//not due to addiction problems but personal//but our person is where the work needs to be done..our inner self...find answers to WHY we used..What we were trying to escape from etc My insurance doesnt cover a TRUE addiction counselor..but if u google u will find many listings of addiction specialists...

I have been researching on the net about several non-profit organizations, that assist people like me with work at home jobs. One organization is called NTI and the other is called The Job Accomodation Network. Has anyone possibly heard of these organizations? What I have researched on them has been good so far. Are there anymore organizations that assist people like me with jobs that will meet my limits due to my disabilities? I have got to do something to supplement our household income.

to be modest i was and still am a very intelligent person but this **** is getting me all screwed up my money,jobs(i worked in Dell Interntional as a tech engineer,worked in wipro as a tech engineer,american express but this **** has taken everything, my relatinship with my family frens career wise.

He now has scoliosis because of poor posture, massive headaches and ear aches, hallucinations, and other problems due to being depressed and given up. We really want to find a home where he can be among people with the same rehabilitation challenges. It would be ideal if the home offered psychologist and a physical therapist; however, even if the home had one or the other it would be better than his situation right now. He just sits at home doing nothing.

All of these are issues but not sure what are the biggest concerns when it comes to getting the additional days in rehabilitation approved.

m not in denial and having had side jobs in the addiction rehabilitation field I know what addiction is. The doctor has simply concluded that my problems are due to alcohol use,when viral hepatitis and HIV was ruled out. And no, I do not want someone to tell me how much longer I can drink. I've already stopped.

I feel ashamed writing this but I've been making myself sick. Nothing like eating something and then vomiting it back up but I've been neglecting myself by refusing to take my medication for my illness. The reason why is mostly because I'm currently out of work with my illness but in the times before I was diagnosed my family always asked me if I've found any jobs and how many I applied for and so on.

So my fiance has finally agreed to go to couples counseling! Yay! Where do I even start looking for a place? How much is it? I'm really worried we can't afford it. We can't afford more than say 50$ a session. I'm assuming that the rates are much higher. Has anyone done it? How much was it? Was it worth it? Does anyone do it for low income families?

I am curious if any one has went to addiction counseling? I had an appointment today that I was very nervous about, and everything was GREAT! This was the guy that had to reffer me to the Suboxone DR in his buliding to get an appointment. He reffered me and said I was a perfect canidate for Suboxone after hearing everything about my addiction. He said that I seem to have what it takes to beat this, and that I seem more determined that most!

Recently i have been thinking about going to counseling. Im tired of sounding like a broken record to my family about my chiari. Plus i could use it in other ways i think also. Like everyday life, relationships. Someone i can speak to who isnt suppose to judge me. Anyone else consider this? The stresss of everyday things are adding to my chiari flare ups.

Asking about ME..and does this raise MY risk. She referred me for genetic counseling. Her nurse is not a very nice person, and really gave me very little information, other than a phone number. Can anyone tell me what is involved in Genetic counseling? What do they do? What happens to me? Thank you for any info.

My grief and loss issues are extensive and can not be deal with in 3 sessions. Do you know of any counseling center that offer free or very discounted counseling from very qualified counselors? It is apparent that I can not keep living this way with these current issues. I am just existing and not living life. I am not suicidal but realize that I need to improve the quality of my life. I have loss the two people closest to me in the world. Any advice is appreciated.

s office called me to tell me they are referring me to another ultrasound to get a clear picture and at the same time do some Genetic Counseling. I was a mess and had a very high level of anxiety when I was waiting for my AFP result. Now this... has anyone gone to Genetic Counseling before? I know they may offer amniocentesis but I know I dont want to do that since my AFP is negative even though it's not 100% accurate. They said the reason they are referring me is because I am 35 years old!

i can't approach him about anything. as soon as i open my mouth to talk he gets mad and p!ssy with me. our conversations usually end up turning into a huge fight. even if i'm asking questions about sports or a movie he has seen and i haven't he treats me as i'm the dumbest person ever b/c i don't know all the answers to everything. it's as if i'm nothing but a bother to him. i hate talking to him.

has anyone treid group counseling?

I'm 23 years old, ftm with 19 weeks. I have a generic counseling appoiment today. What to expect? Does all the mommies to be get this counseling?

I'm starting to feel like I'm not going to be a good mother. I got laid off a few months back and wasn't working enough to collect unemployment. I got into a bad car accident a few years ago and don't drive so I'm limited to jobs in my area and I live in a very small town and so far havnt had any luck. I'm going to be a single parent and the father doesn't think the baby is his, which there is no possible way otherwise.

I really need a job i hate depending on others income and i need to start making sime money again. have any of you gotten jobs while being noticeably pregnant ? if so where at,and what type of jobs do you suggest? i have experience in fast food but i will never work at ine again (just my preference). Please leave some comments and let me know,i really need to start getting back on my feet again. thanks ladies!
