Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it. Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?

Is there a Untied way in your area or a salvation army also mental health centers in your town .Are you still using and how much . I know you know not to try to taper off on your own .You can PM me anytime ....You can get help and get your life back. I know this is not what you want out of life ...

Quality rehab facilities that are completely free are few and far between. Many have payment plans or will work with you with payments. Your best bet is to flip through the yellow pages, find the first rehab, and call them. Tell them what you need and ask for help. If they can't help, ask for a referral. Rehab centers know about each others terms and programs for miles. They are your best source of info. Outpatient rehab isn't nearly as pricey as inpatient programs.

She has never been there before and I have no experience with being in rehab, as I have never gone that route. Can I hear from people who have gone, and if this was the route that you would suggest someone go? Thank you in advance!!

I posted before my husband decided to go to rehab we live in Ct and took him to one in Penn. I just have a question and this sounds so stupid, but i've lost all trust in him since all his lies and addiction. I want to know what it's like in rehab. He is in detox for 5 days then stays there for 21 days. The place is called livengrin...any of you heard of it or been there? I just want to know if people can easily have sex in places like that?

Most rehab centers take care of the detox the first week or so that you're there. I know the ones I checked into do. Also, stay away from Ultram. It will open a can of worms you don't need to mess with.

So, you’re right to look for cheap rehab centers. You don’t have to break into a bank or go broke in the name of getting off drug and alcohol addiction.

They are geared toward dealing with the mental part of the disease and most do not have detox capabilities. I have been in 3 different centers and each time I white-knuckled it to get through the physical withdrawal. The idea was to keep me safe in a controlled environment while I began to recover. The first two did not help me get clean and it was no one's fault but my own. MOST are a great place to begin but it is what you make it.

It really depends. There are inpatient centers, as in you live there, and outpatient centers, where you don't live at the facility. Different options work for different people. I have been in a outpatient place and it works well for me. I am sure every place is different though, and it is ultimately up to you and what you want. There isn't an exact time to 'come off' of any drug, or any chemical that alters you in some way.

You can do a google search of treatment centers in your area. You can use your local phone book to find what assistance is available in your area. Hey Cj!! I didn't realize you were so close, I'm from Amarillo, Texas. I know here in Tx, many rehab centers offer payment plans for people without ins, you would need to locate one near you and see if maybe that is an option for you. Take care!!

what will rehab do for me? im in the process of calling the ins co to see where i can go. will they give me something to stop this crazy jittery feeling? will i be not so anxious to the point of not coping? i am comin g out of my skin. i cant take it. will rehab help? or will i be in a strange room with strange people going thru the same exact thing? i cant do this alone i just cant... i need help im just not sure what i need.... i am willing and able to go for inpatient treatment.

anyone have a family member in drug rehab? my DH has been gone 6 days into his 30 days of treatment. i am left alone with a three year old.. i want him to get help for drugs and depression, but now i am left alone with my son and i am now severly depressed, lonely, hurt, feeling guilty, and so on, and so on. his problem has torn me apart. i am a nervous wreck. i dont know what to do, or who to talk to. i am begging for some kind of help.. someone to talk to, somewhere to go.

Hellow, in 2008 my Dad has kidney cancer, we didi operation adn both the kidney and the cancer were removed, this week we didi a routine xray on his lungs, the doctor adviced to do CT and there are upto 7 metastasisi in his lungs, both of them, mainly in lower parts, but also in upper part.

Inpatient Rehab or Intensive Outpatient rehab. I am in a foreign country right now so I have to wait about two months until I can begin whatever treatment I end up choosing. I am so ready to get clean. It so very hard to taper myself off when I have basically an unlimited supply. I know I need to do something. I am lucky enough to have great parents who have told me that I can go to any type of treatment anywhere I choose.

Get your phone book out. Look up detox and rehab centers in your area. Whether you have health insurance or not there are places you can go to get detoxed. That is the beginning. Then the work begins. To figure out why you are doing this. It sounds like it started with back surgery. But that is just a symptom.. There is something that is making you afraid or sad or both that makes you feel a need to numb yourself. I use to do this with alcohol.

My drug of choice was hydro. I went to the ER yesterday b/c I was so scared. I was dehydrated & my blood pressure was really low. I told them I was so sick from withdrawling from the pain meds. They gave me an IV & sent me home with hydro 5mg. They only gave me 12, & told me to take them only when I start feeling sick again. I'm trying really hard to do that, but if I had control I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.

Check around local hospitals and imaging centers and see if anyone has an open MRI. The machine in more like a CT scanner and you don't have to go in a tube. Good luck, hope your area has one.

She spent 3 weeks in the hospital (2 1/2 was in medically induced coma) and a week in inpatient rehab.
