My adult son recently went to the Fresh Start Programs treatment center in Nevada and California. It cost $33,000 up front. He had a really bad experience there. He was told he could take his depression medicine but they would not let him. They sent him to the hospital when he became very upset but did not follow up or check on him. He was allowed to just walk out and then disappeared and relapsed. He was only there 4 weeks but they will not give any type of refund.

Most rehab centers take care of the detox the first week or so that you're there. I know the ones I checked into do. Also, stay away from Ultram. It will open a can of worms you don't need to mess with.

My wife has been in rehab for 20 days. She told her therapist I can know all aspects of her treatment such as medications her personal plan etc. they have given me almost nothing. I have called and asked about costs. I don't get answers. I was told she would need money for transitional living but never said when and how much. Thanks, thats what I did I tried to search everything like fresno birthing center, california birthing centers and looked through to see if there was any. My last resort is calling some midwives and asking but since I couldnt find a website or anything and they usually have one Im thinking there is probably not one there. So after I fond out for sure we'll start considering/planning a home birth.

Not all rehab centers are equal. Many if not most try to do it too quickly with a one size fits all approach, whereas an individual psychiatrist who really knows his stuff will go at your pace. Not that those are easy to find! By the way, you need a new psychiatrist. The one you have doesn't seem to realize he works for you.

So, you’re right to look for cheap rehab centers. You don’t have to break into a bank or go broke in the name of getting off drug and alcohol addiction.

I have told the doctors that I believe it was the medications that was the major contributor to her liver condition but they are stuck on that she will only be a candid on the list if she survives 3 months of rehab and then 3 months of documented soboriety, did i mention that her bili score is 42. How can I get the doctors to reconsider.

Hey Cj!! I didn't realize you were so close, I'm from Amarillo, Texas. I know here in Tx, many rehab centers offer payment plans for people without ins, you would need to locate one near you and see if maybe that is an option for you. Take care!!

Or maybe at the hospital they can help you find a state funded rehab. It sounds like you have hit your bottom so just remember you can only go up from here.

My obgyn is staffed with 4 different midwives and I see all of them. I'm having a water birth,they are offered at my hospital. If your local hospital doesn't offer them you can research birthing centers, most of them offer water births.

I doubt anyone can help you here. Your best bet is to do a goggle search and/or call treatment centers in your area. Best of luck!

Get your phone book out. Look up detox and rehab centers in your area. Whether you have health insurance or not there are places you can go to get detoxed. That is the beginning. Then the work begins. To figure out why you are doing this. It sounds like it started with back surgery. But that is just a symptom.. There is something that is making you afraid or sad or both that makes you feel a need to numb yourself. I use to do this with alcohol.

I live in California and it doesnt cover birthing centers. I did a quick google search for Ohio and it doesnt seem to be covered over there either. It will probably cover midwives but if you want to give birth somewhere other than a hospital, you will probably have to pay out of pocket.

There are many expensive rehab centers across the United States that are not too large, or crowded, but will keep him at least 90 days and urge him to transition to a sober living facility afterward for a period of time. Im in LA and i know california hospital does water birth. Try doing some research. There's also birth centers, not necessarily hospitals. All depends if you have the money for it. If you do water birth i highly recomend getting a duola and midwife.
