Avatar f tn I am a new patient of the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in Philadelphia, PA. You do have to pay for your visits and any treatments (e.g. IV) upfront and then the center gives you the appropriate diagnostic codes and information to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. My insurance company reimbursed me for some of it, but it is still rather expensive.

Avatar f tn I have started rehab at Moss Rehab in Philadelphia and will check in with my physiatrist about referrals, and as wonderful as he had been for rehab, is not knowledgeable about my eye issues. My thoughts--should I be seen for a second eval by neuroopthamology? Is there any other specialty that can effectively diagnose symptoms that may stem from vision/TBI/autoimmune conditions?
12182312 tn?1427683956 Hi. I'm looking for a good neurologist in the Philadelphia area. One who specializes in headaches would be preferred. After some time now from suffering from headaches , I can't do it anymore and need to get help for them. I would really appreciate any referrals. Especially around the South Philly/Center City/ Delco area.
Avatar m tn Hello Joshua. It's fairly common. There are different treatments available, that's the good side of all this. I'm from Philly myself and I heard on the radio of this new center that opened up. It's by Dr. Gittens. I think it's called Philadelphia Center for Sexual Medicine. Maybe give them a call. See what they can offer. Good luck, man.
Avatar f tn I am from philly, resides in the temple area (North Philadelphia). Just went to get gender scan yesterday at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) 34th Spruce. I like this hospital way better.I delievered my first son at Einstein hospital and did not get half of the treatment at HUP. They treated me with so much care, and I enjoy all my visits. Where do you reside at? I just find out yesterday I am expecting another baby boy.
Avatar f tn My son is a heroin addict and has finally agreed to go to a rehab. He checked himself into WVU Hospital today only to be turned away because they have no beds and he has no money or insurance. Every rehab I have checked into wants money or insurance or they have no beds. We live in West Virginia but he is willing to go anywhere. He is desperate and really wants to change. Can anyone help with a rehab that does not charge anything and has beds available?

Avatar f tn They are doing and IVF study at Abington Repro center, in Abington PA (a Philly suberb). They are looking for women 35-42 yrs, regular cycles, and non smokers. The entire cost of ivf is free including the meds. They are testing an new stimulant drug that you will only need to take once and will create all the follicles in a weeks span of time. The drug was just approved in France in January and they are now testing in the USA.
501205 tn?1227345442 I cant sleep and was watching the VH1 show Celeb Rehab and I have to say I wish I could have detoxed in that center! Its so nice. Hell, I wish I could stay there right now. I like Dr. Drew too. People say that he is a fame--- but I dont know . he seems to really care about his patients. Either way that recovery center is so nice and beautiful.
Avatar f tn Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it. Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?
Avatar n tn I was in rehab for the first time in March. Was only there for 2 weeks because I found out I was pregnant about a week into treatment. They tested me when I got there but the results didn't come back until 7 days into treatment. I was already out of detox. So I chose to stay clean and not get back on anything. They wanted to put me back on methadone which is what they used to wean me off the oxy contin.
1895503 tn?1332373374 t been nearly as in touch as I wish to have been while here in this rehab center. I came here because after detoxing for 4 months on my own (from Opana ER), I realized that I couldn't even figure out how much help I still needed. After being at this rehab center for a week, I don't have Opana in my system anymore. I am now on Suboxone (4mg two times a day). I have heard all the warnings about Suboxone, and plan to be off it within 1 1/2 weeks.
Avatar f tn If you truly have episcleritis for 5 years then see a scleritis or uveitits specialist at a major referral center like Bascom Palmer in Miami or Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, Wills Eye in Philadelphia, Wilmer Eye in Baltimore just for a quick short list.
Avatar f tn Watching Heidi Fleiss was really sad.. I saw her on celebrity rehab where she retreated to the desert with a bunch of parrots! It was so sad bc you could see how much pain she was in. Dennis Rodman was like watching a train about to fly off the tracks.. He kinda had the "im not an addict" mentality even while in rehab! I KNEW Kim Richards was on pills and stuff... You could just tell. She went to rehab and looks like she's doing GREAT now!!
Avatar m tn It all depends on the person. What do you think is best for you?
Avatar m tn They made me an open biopsy at the Cancer Center in Philadelphia. They closet me up because they only found some atypia cells. As I had those cells, they have advised me to get Tomaxifen. Yesterday I went to see a Cancer Doctor here in San Juan, Puerto Rico and she explained to me that Tomaxifen has several very serious side effects like: blood clots, heart failures, etc. and that I may get cancer in the endocratin area in my vagina and would then need an operation down in that area.
Avatar n tn Perhaps you can make a visit to the United States for a second opinion at a well known eye center like WIlls Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Wilmer Eye Hospital in Baltimore or Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
