I was in rehab for the first time in March. Was only there for 2 weeks because I found out I was pregnant about a week into treatment. They tested me when I got there but the results didn't come back until 7 days into treatment. I was already out of detox. So I chose to stay clean and not get back on anything. They wanted to put me back on methadone which is what they used to wean me off the oxy contin.

Our area just opened a Neuro Rehab and Therapy center that has a slew of services all under on roof - they don't focus just on MS, and include other neuro disorders. Amazing place, actually! This expo caught my attention because I don't know of any other one day events like this specifically for people with MS. There are lots of health fair events, but nothing this specific.

After going home from the inpatient rehab center, is it necessary to follow up with visiting the the outpatient rehab center regularly or just continue at home the rehab exercise which be taught at rehab center?

Thanks for the reply. Actually at this time, he's not spending that much on drugs since he hasn't been able to find them. Most money goes to alcohol, probably about $400/month at the very most. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a big chunk of our income right now. When I was in the hospital in a coma, he spend about $5000 in one month on pills and alcohol. That's when I had some savings.

You are young enough hopefully not to be on any other meds, so you can find out once and for all what is causing them. Shands and Cleveland Clinic and Mayo have hospitals now in Florida. Not knowing where you are, I suggest you look them up online and go to the one nearest you. And try to forgive the other docs. Their expenses are above what they can handle now because of insurance companies so they are getting caught up in the results of basically socialized medicine.

Hey Girl, It really is too bad we didn't go to the same tx centers. i was at a hospital program in Florida (West Palm Beach) called Palms, after the one I thought would be great didn't end up be so (actually the first 2). Now I am at a different 2 week program that is very intensive therapy, but we live in this amazing house in Florida. I didn't know I was going to do both place, but my hubby really wanted me to do both.

Would anyone know of a "decent" dr. in preferably south Florida dealing with autonomic issues. I really do not want to travel to Vanderbilt. Several doctors told me not to waste my time. In the meantime, I have no autonomic dr to answer my many, many questions. This is so frustrating, especially since I progress on a regular basis. I know my symptoms are advanced and need answers. I dont know where you live or what treatment centre your going to,,but,, My 16 year old daughter is in treatment for adhd in kitchener and before she went in to treatment,,we looked on the internet at the place she was going and we found out everything we needed to know,,like phone privilages,,visit's,,her laptop,,rules ect.. She is only 16 and went to treatment for behavioral problems not drug use, but I am sure you can look it up just the same have you tried yet??

well i found a rehab to go to I'm going on aug 25th but the weird thing is she said its tricky with insurances and detox and mine might not pay and she can't see if they will until I'm there and if they dont cover it it cost 9000$ so i will have to leave weird i think but whatever i just hope they will pay without any trouble cuz i need this real bad i am very excited to be going i can't wait to see what life is like being free and sober

Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it. Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?

I cant sleep and was watching the VH1 show Celeb Rehab and I have to say I wish I could have detoxed in that center! Its so nice. Hell, I wish I could stay there right now. I like Dr. Drew too. People say that he is a fame--- but I dont know . he seems to really care about his patients. Either way that recovery center is so nice and beautiful.
