Avatar f tn Kelley: Hello I've been experiencing pain in the penis which feels like burning sensations. I've had an oral encounter 3 months ago and don't know if it is this or stress related as I have bad anxiety. I've never had anal sex or vaginal sex. The pain has been here for about a month. Then I experience some pelvic pain. There are no bumps on my penis. The pain mostly is around the foreskin region and sometimes the side of the penis but not often. I do not hAve pain while urinating.

Avatar n tn I have a chronic cough, for months and I have back pain, all across about the bra line area. NO, I can't go to the doctor as I don't have a job and don't have insurance. Can you tell me anything about what would cause the pain? This discussion is related to <a href='/posts/show/202067'>mid back pain--worried about cancer</a>.
Avatar f tn It can certainly reduce stress and anxiety. It can reduce allergies as well if what you mean by healthy eating means reducing the intake of pro-inflammatory foods that can cause or exacerbate allergies. The most common of these for most people is dairy and wheat, but soy and corn can also be common problems. Eating organically grown foods might help, as they might have fewer chemicals on them that you might be allergic to or that might force your immune system to go on overdrive.
Avatar f tn The fact that the conservative treatment you have tried thus far has not proven effective, the doctor is suggesting a nerve block to reduce the inflammation and provide analgesia in the area to reduce/relieve your pain. It could be effective and might be appropriate depending on the severity and progression of your symptoms. If you feel comfortable with this physician you can discuss this option further and inquire regarding treatment options available should this method not be effective.
Avatar m tn Protocol: Bruce Duration:5:45 Stage:2 Mets:7.0 Peak HR:146 %THR:90% Peak BP:210/100 Baseline 2d imaging demonstrates hypo/akinesis and mid portions of inferior and posterior walls. Low/normal LV function with EF at 55-60%. Immediate post stress imaging demonstrates augmented contractility of all wall segments - inferior and psoterio walls remain relatively hypokinetic. Abnormal stress echo demonstrating a previous non transmural inferior/posterior MI with some contractile reserve.
Avatar m tn Based on your young age and the absence of any significant trauma, the pain may be related to muscle strain that has not been completely resolved. The fact that your pain is increased with positional changes and lengthy periods of sitting etc lends support to this probability. Disc herniations could produce similar pain, but are usually accompanied by other neurological changes.
Avatar f tn I am 15 weeks and i have made some major changes to turn away from stress no more fb, to reduce the drama, moved in with my mom to reduce financial stress. Now theres mire issues. I love to praise dance and my doctor has approved of it ive found it reduces my stress. but my pastor won't allow me to do so at church because she thinks its bad for pregnant women to do so . Any ideas on how to convince her its safe?
Avatar n tn Pain under the left shoulder blade is usually a referred pain from abdomen like stomach ulcers, acidity, pancreatitis, or ectopic pregnancy or from the chest like in heart attack, pericarditis, pleuritis, pneumonia, pulmonary embolus, and aortic dissection. Since the pain is not much chances of chest related causes are less. It is in all probability acidity due to medications you took. Raise head end of bed. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime.
Avatar f tn t seem to be related to a certain food, as I can eat a meal one day without symptoms, and eat the leftovers the next day with symptoms. The symptoms are more present during dinner. Stress brings on the widespread pain as well. I also experience some IBS, fatigue, and bouts of insomnia. This all started 8 months ago, with a bad reaction to an antiobiotic, and then a very stressful few months. I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and some IBS.
Avatar f tn I am having back pain that started back of neck, moved between shoulder blade along spine and now in lower lumbar, back. it hurts to stand up straight, when I get up from sitting or to walk especially when I lift my leg up to take a step. the pain is so intense that it takes my breath away. I did not carry or lift anything heavy or injure myself. will see doctor if I am not better by Friday. any ideas?
Avatar m tn Again it is exacerbated by stress or caffeine. For these symptoms, the best treatment is to reduce the caffeine intake and/or reduce the stress. If the twitches are bothersome or disabling, medical treatment may be necessary. This will need to be at the discretion of your physician. I would recommend that you cut back your caffeine (sodas, coffee, tea, power/energy drinks, etc) and get adequate sleep. If possible, you will also need to reduce your stress.

Avatar f tn A few months ago I was having some fluttering and abnormal heart beats that after wearing a monitor all checked out ok (PVCS). I have had all the tests, echo, ekg, holter and event monitor. I had a stress test 3 years ago, all normal. My cholesterol is 170 and my bp is 100/60. Resting pulse 60. My question is this...a few times over the last couple of weeks I have had this intense stabbing pain either on the left side or right side of my chest.

Avatar m tn Could be heart related...panic attacks..Gallbladder attack. You need to seek a Dr to do some tests...cardiac stress test .blood tests and ultrasound of gall bladder. These tests would narrow it down. Remember pain is your body's alarm system that something is wrong!

1099849 tn?1293492703 Are these symptoms likely just stress related since leaning back alleviates the problem rather rapidly, I have no fevor before or after the attacks and the only other symptom..(When I have 3 or 4 attacks in a day ~ before a stressful situtation) is soreness around my waistline? And what can I do to help reduce this symptom if it is likely stress related?
Avatar m tn right now as I type this my back feels a bit sore and tight. I also have been suffering from a lot of lower back pain. Sometimes it hurts even when I sit down, it is constantly there when I walk. These sensations are only present in my back, i have felt them no where else in my body. I have been on no new medications and live a pretty stress free life. Although i am aware these things could be stress related.
