4152590 tn?1350772856 I had a bad night last night. First, I had to sit through a 5 hour meeting yesterday and developed what i think is sciatic nerve pain down my left buttock and leg. I've had this kind of pain before and don't think it's MS related. Then, last night, I was working on an important document on my computer and lost it. Needless to say, I was very upset. It was late, so I just called it a night.
Avatar n tn Is there a drug that I can use to reduce my stress levels while trying to conceive and taking fertility medifcine? I have this theory - my periods started being irregular in my final school year when I was 18 - and the year was very stressful. The dr then said I will have problem trying to conceive - which was true until I fell pregnant with my son without trying to conceive(a very stress free period in my life). That was 6 years ago - and no lucky surprises since then.
Avatar f tn I generally feel very stressed about school and my social life. In the last two weeks my school stress has been increasing, and I constantly have headaches, and a temperature. I don't know what to do about that, I have tried staying at home for a day, but it has just made me feel even more stressed, as I missed lessons and had a lot to catch up on. Do you think me feeling sick comes from the stress? Do you have any advice on how to reduce school stress?

Avatar f tn Hey hey...long time no talk...but i know you're always around kepping an eye on things. ;) Talking to your dr doesn't have to mean taking meds. So yeah...do it for sure cuz there can be alot of ways to overcome anxiety without taking a pill...addictive or not. discuss it with him/her and state what your concerns are and see what you can come up with. This will totally pass.... A few days ago you were feelin so good and were full of energy ..... It can't be like that everyday ....

1296927 tn?1272559732 She is 9 years old and on Monday she was taken to the ER via ambulance because she fainted in school. At the time of her fainting, the teacher was showing pictures of the muscle structure of the knee and pretending to do "knee surgery." At the hospital my daughter's blood work was normal, her urine showed a significant UTI, her cat scan of her skull came back normal, and she had no heart rate problems via ultrasound.
Avatar f tn Don't stress, school isn't for friends or fitting in. Its for you to get an education and have a better life for you and your baby. I found out I was pregnant the last month of my junior year and when I came back my senior year I was already showing. So of course people say crap but I ignored it and smiled and flicked all the haters off when I walked across the stage to get my diploma with honors and my son was 5 months old being there to see his mommy graduate.
Avatar n tn He started Junior High this year and his Facial Tics seem to be out of control very much making his transition very hard for him to concentrate on anything. His facial movements are every few seconds not any breaks in between. I am not sure how to handle this do I take him back to the Dr or just wait it out and give it sometime for him to adjust. He take Tenex but I think it is not helping him anymore. What does a parent do?

Avatar f tn ) I only eat whole grains when I do do carbs and eat tons of organic fruit and veggies--no processed food. ANd put flaxseed on my cereal in the morning. Avatar f tn I have a positive relationship with my father). This placed a great deal of emotional stress on me. As the end of the school year approached**, I began experiencing episodes of tachycardia at school, as well as persistent diarrhea. I visited my doctor (about 1.5 months before the end of school) because of this diarrhea, and, while waiting for my appointment, experienced a very high heart rate.
Avatar f tn it all depends on how u deal with stress. When you are stressed out, your body pumps out different hormones-obviously the stress hormones that increase heart rate n things like that. Some stress is normal. N if u can cope with them, your body's stress hormones level out but if you're constantly stressed, u can be affecting the baby. I remember learning in school that too much stress during pregnancy can be associated with low birth weight and/or premature birth.
