red skin upper arms

I have cold, red upper arms for years now. Also my palms are always red. Can somebody explain to me where this comes from.?

I notice it is much worse if I sweat or if I wear lotions that cause my upper arms to sweat. Unfortunately, like every one else explained, scratching the skin only worsens the itching, and then the topicals we use don't work. There is no rash, and I also think that is what contributes to doctors thinking it is psychological. I have been using Gold Bond Lotion for itching, with menthol in it. Unfortunately it is a lotion, which sometimes creates more sweat.

My skin sometimes gets really red and blotchy on my neck, upper arms and upper chest. Not sure what causes it. It seems to come and goes whenever it wants...It's never itchy or raised, but does feel slightly warm to the touch. It gets annoying and embarrasing at times, people think I have a sunburn or rash. Does anyone know what is going on & how to stop it?

I am a 30 year old female. I have bumps covering my upper arms. Some are flesh colored and some have a pink tone to them. My upper arms have an overall pink, rashy look to them, but I believe this is more of an exfoliation issue than an acne or rash issue. I have had this condition for as long as I can remember, and my brother's arms look the same as mine. Inside most of the bumps is a hair that cannot push through the skin.

I have a constant rash on my upper arms that has been there for years. I was told previously that it was infected dermatitis but the cream i was prescribed didn't clear it. Fucibet and Fucidin. It is not itchy, but consists of tiny red or white bumps, the white ones have a white substance when squeezed. The sun seems to help clear it but it returns again. Could it be an allergy. I have a rash that is only on my upper arms and the backs of arms close to armpits. Small red bumps, somedays worse than others but always there. I have had it for over a year and a half now. Not painful, not itchy. Just there. What can I do about it? Is there a home remedy or over the counter cream I could try? My family Dr. told me a year ago that it was dry skin and would go away. It never has. Help please! It is nearly summer and I can't wear sleeveless clothing.

s during the treatment when I realized an awful rash on both my arms from wrist to shoulder. They do not itch at all, however they are red and often have white "head" puss inside them, which when squeeze it comes up like a pimple. Hi about 18mnths ago I suddenly notice small pimple like red raisednbumpsmon the underside of upper arms. The right side is worse and is spreading . They are very red sometimes and other times appear calm. My elbow joints have now become sore too. I have tried fungal and cortisone creams with no improvement. I am on cymbalta for anxiety and depression. Do you have any idea in leaning towards what I sold get tested to find out what it is so I can treat it.

Since about Monday my skin has been acting very weird. It started out taht my face would turn very red, and it would not itch but it would be very warm. The day after that, mainly on my forearms, raised red patches of skin appeared. They are not itchy either and they don't cause me any kind of discomfort, theyre just there. just these red bumps and red blotches all over my upper arms. When I get too warm (have a bath or sit in the sun) my arms feel like they are burning and they get redder than usual. It is so unbearable that you have to scratch the spot (which has no tell-tale rash or mark) and only after ripping the upper layer of skin off does the itching ease. Help! I have these upper arm red bumps, they can be smaller or bigger and can join together and create a patch. They are not tiny so they are not the "Keratosis pilaris" items or suggestions I've seen. They are slightly raised and are pink. I've now had 2 biopsies. Red blotches on skin. Not a rash, doesn't itch. Noticed first blotch on upper ab and then later saw more develope on back,legs, arms, chest. They are random patterns, seems to be under skin. Hello, One possibility for such type of pinpoint red dots is petechiae. They are pinpoint-sized red dots under the surface of the skin. They are common after skin trauma and viral infections. They should go away in a few days. But if they persist then please consult a physician and get other causes ruled out which include allergic reaction, autoimmune diseases, thrombocytopenia, ITP or leukemias. My sincere advice is to get it examined from a dermatologist.

Within 1a couple of days smaller red spots followed around that aread. During the last weekend my back torso and arms became covered with small red spots, like little bumps. Almost all of them are small with some occasional bigger patches. I took a snapshot if that can help. In addition: * it never really itched, only now it started a little but it's very mild. Almost nothing. * the starting patches can still be seen as the biggest ones in the pic.
